Very comfortable accommodations. The updated interior of the home is very nice and the property is well kept. We enjoyed spending time as family while being in town for my dad‘s 80th birthday.
We rented the house for graduation weekend and couldn’t have been happier. Thank you David for letting us stay in your beautiful, nicely refurbished home!
Great place! The host, David, was very communicative. Clean and well stocked with everything you need! It was a fifteen minute walk to a coffee shop, about a 20ish minute walk to the lake.
It was a great place to stay. It had everything we needed. It was an easy drive to every place we needed to go. You could walk to downtown but we drove. We would stay again if we were in the area.
The home was spotless in a quiet neighborhood with off-street parking. David was easy to communicate with. Comfortable living/TV room. Mattresses in two main bedrooms are best for those who like them soft and mushy. Lots of drawers for clothing, but could use a few more hangars and reading lights in bedrooms.

I’m sorry you prefer firmer beds. I actually invested in good mattresses because it bothers me when I stay at a rental and the mattresses are cheap.
We enjoyed our stay in Geneva at this wonderful home. It was very clean upon arrival. The kitchen and laundry room/mud room are fresh and new with nice decor. It was a perfect location while visiting our son who plays soccer at Hobart. It has a lovely downstairs bedroom and bathroom that worked perfectly for our in-laws. We were able to bring our dog and the backyard was perfect for her. We could walk into town and to our favorite coffee shop on Washington St. The front porch was a nice spot to read and hang out. Our host was flexible and easy to communicate with while staying there. We highly recommend this place and will stay here again.
Welcome to The Cherry Street Retreat! My name is David; my family and I will be your host during your stay. I am from the Rochester area originally, and I currently live in Victor with my family. I served in the Navy for eleven years and I was lucky enough to travel the world. I lived in Chicago, Buffalo, Washington DC, Japan, Italy, and Philadelphia, to name a few. Over the years, we have been hosted in some lovely homes by wonderful people, and we wanted to take the opportunity to do the same. Despite the email address, we are a family, not a company, and this is our only rental home. We fell in love with Geneva when we moved back to the area and we hope that you will too!
Why they chose this property
Geneva has so much to offer! Between the restaurants, bars, lake, parks, and the wineries, this small city is surprisingly busy.
What makes this property unique
This home was built 130 and has a lot of internal charm. The molding is beautiful and there is a century-old stained glass window on the front of the house overlooking the porch.
