I booked this lovely apartment last minute for my three children and myself. It was very clean very comfortable it was close to the beach & the avocado festival event. Overall great experience

Had a nice stay in Carpinteria.We needed to check in early in the day and the owner said that it would be fine, but it seemed like they weren't able to get it cleaned in advance. The beds and bathrooms were fine, but there was quite a bit of dust and pet hair throughout the unit and we ended up cleaning the unit ourselves. The owner had been traveling, apologized and gave us a discount. There were 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that were all very nice. The location was ok, but a bit out of town and near the freeway, not very close to the beach or restaurants. There was parking in the underground garage. The elevator wasn't working and there are a couple of flights of stairs to the unit. There is a balcony with a bbq. We had trouble locking the balcony door, and when we were able to lock it, we couldn't open it again. It was raining, so didn't affect our stay. Also there were neighbors that enjoyed an evening joint, so leaving the door open wasn't going to be a good option for us.Overall, a nice option in Carpinteria, if quite a bit overpriced.

The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked. Great location for walking to Linden St. and nearby restaurants. Water pressure seemed low in showers but other than that everything was great. We had a great stay!
