Cozy place as a one night stay after we landed late, before heading to our next location. And we are a family of 5, so hotels are tough. Location felt a bit sketchy and Google reviews stated not to go running alone in the morning (I'm a female runner). Parts of the house were old and needed some repair. But their was a bed for each of us.
Great location as we were attending a swim meet at Bartlett pool. Some guests wrote that they felt uncomfortable in the neighborhood. We did not and neighbors were friendly! We would have appreciated a toaster and a bit of work on the quality of utensils and pots, pans, and skillets would make this place perfect. We will stay again.
This place was great. Lots of room, lots of hot water, nice kitchen, quiet area, close to everything I needed. Will definitely be staying there again when I need to be in Anchorage for work.

The host was quick to respond to questions and very easy to talk to. It is a pet friendly listing with a fenced in yard. The only con would be if you are avoiding steps/stairs. There are several stepping up onto property that are serviceable with large chips in concrete and uneven walking surface. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and would most likely rebook for future needs.

As the place was not terrible it definitely was not very clean and comfortable. Could use some TLC.
The property is an older home but was clean and welcoming. The steps up to the property entrance are weird. The dressers in the bedrooms seem like earthquake survivors withthem being almost unusable
The house was ok. The heat worked wonderfully. There was enough bedding and plenty of towels. The floors were absolutely NOT clean. Looked like pet hair in every corner. It smelled like urine in some areas as well.
It was great! Plenty of room, nice TV, we watched lots of movies. Place was clean and comfy we had a great time.

The house is old and dilapidated. Its has a shotty remodel, and some of the furnishings are old or broken. The beds were so bad that we left and went to a hotel to sleep. No problems with the host. The rental is in the ghetto, and we were approached more than once by panhandlers.
"Basic" is a good word for this property. It was like someone decided to do a rental and went to the dollar store for all the materials. The two couches were old and sagging. The coffee table was something one would find at a garage sale and hideous. The front steps were scary and the gate was broken and latched with a rope. There were dents in the refrigerator that made it look like it had been in battle. The door for the bathroom has a hole in it and was hastily painted over, not even patched. The ice cube trays had cracks in them. The coffee pot was a small 4 cup pot, but we had 4 adults with us. Speaking of 4 adults, we were left TWO bath towels, and one hand towel. We were booked for two different nights, one night each. After we got there the first night we were so depressed by the location and the appearance we debated about even staying there. We tried to cancel the 2nd night, but would have lost the entire amount AND had to find somewhere else. This is NOT a place that makes you feel like you are on vacation, more like you are on a mission trip. I would never pay money to stay at a place like this.
