About the host
Hosted by Natasha McCabe
We are Natasha and Paul, and we’d like to be the first to welcome you to Yew Tree Cottage.
When we first encountered Yew Tree, it was love at first sight. Being from London, people thought we were crazy buying something so unfamiliar to us, but how could we pass up this beautiful farmhouse? Built in 1750, it has such a rich history: The town’s water came from the back garden well (which still exists but is no longer used), and it was once a home to evacuees during World War II. Yew Tree’s captivating countryside, the lovely town of Westow, the plentiful fresh air and all the open fields were merely an added bonus.
For many years, we've continuously worked to renovate Yew Tree back to its former glory, and added several special touches along the way to elevate it from simply charming to downright chic.
We want our guests to have a brilliant experience from the moment they enquire about staying with us to the moment they shut the door on their way out. As such, everything we do and offer – from timely communications to a fully stocked kitchen – is focused on a great guest experience.
We are proud supporters of the local community, and we love to share that with those who stay at our property. Fresh coffee, meat, eggs, baked goods and milk are all supplied by local farmers and business owners. As a member of the community (at least for a short while!), we encourage you to make yourself at home at Yew Tree Cottage.
