The place was new and had a stunning view of the mountains. There were three of us adults and it was great having two bathrooms. However, there were only two chairs in the kitchen area and only two chairs on the deck. The parking was definitely less than ideal. With no guard rail of any kind, it was tricky to park without getting too close to the edge of the steep driveway. Plus, there was very little room to park anyway.
Very nice and new inside. Very clean.
Easy to contact property owner. Responsive.
There are several homes in this complex being built.
You have to go up a series of switchbacks to get up the short mountain to this unit. There are currently no guardrails, so be VERY careful driving!
Once you reach the top, there is a driveway that goes down very steeply to the buildings. Not enough room to park right in front of buildings. Sometimes we needed to drive back out, and park up higher in a different area, and walk back.
If you do park in the driveway, when you then pull up out of the driveway, it it so steep that when your car reaches the top and begins to pull out, your car bottom inevitably scrapes the road, which is not desirable. It is also very tight quarters when you pull out. You cannot simply make a left turn to leave the driveway; you need to make a 5- or 7-point turn to get out, otherwise you risk driving into the gulley in front of you. Also, on the right side of the driveway (as you pull out), there is a precipitous fall down the mountain, so be VERY careful.
The buildings have a curious design. The stairs that lead to the upper units block direct access to the lower units. If you have a lower unit (as we did), the person upstairs will likely block your easy access to your unit. To get to the downstairs unit, you need to walk below ground level, then walk up another set of stairs to get to your front door at the back of the building. This aspect was not so desirable.
