This is a unique place, a magical perch on Tomales Bay. An aesthetic pleasure as well, with wonderful art work on the walls. Hot tub also affords lovely views of Tomales with privacy from the road. It's an amazing spot

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here at this unbelievably charming place. Watching the sun set from the dining table and couch was a pleasure, as was having coffee on that same couch in the morning. The host was communicative and friendly, and we would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay - the location on Tomales Bay is peaceful & beautiful, the house airy & filled with light...with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, hot tub on the deck...it was a perfect getaway for us.

This is a special spot! We were going to a wedding nearby and opted to stay here instead of at the wedding location. Perfect...Cool in the 50s at night and 65-75 during the day. Beautiful views, relaxing hot tub on the deck, woodstove ready to go, great little kitchen, restaurants and shops close by, hiking trails, golf up the road, 90 minutes from SFO, 2 nice bedrooms and 1.5 baths, clean as a could be. Loaded with CDs and a Bose stereo, all kinds of books to read. Check the pics out on the siteYou will be staying on Tomales Bay. We hated to leave....9/20/2026

Beautiful stay!!! The host was lovely and provided us with all the info for arrival. The space was clean and welcoming - fun games & wonderful selection of cds to really make our time feel cozy (we loved playing Sinatra as we looked at the stars). Can’t get better than this in Marshall!

This home was the perfect seaside retreat. It’s a perfect home base to explore the Point Reyes seashore and the best of Sonoma and Marin county, but this home is a paradise in itself. We loved spending quiet mornings watching birds over the bay, and admiring the stars in the hot tub each night. A perfect place for design-lovers to reset and recharge, this is a home we already can’t wait to come back to.

Though we never saw our host, the instructions for access were clear and we had no problems. What makes the “Loft” a perfect getaway is its location, perched on the edge of the bay. Just sitting and watching the cormorants and pelicans flying by created a sense of calm, much needed today. This was our second visit and we look forward to more!
