We came in for the Christmas holiday. The place was beautiful and stylish. It was perfectly located for all the city adventures we had plannned. There was plenty of space for a large family and the building security was excellent. We will definitely visit again.

We loved this property! Our family of 6 (3 adults, 2 teenagers and a 9yr old) stayed here for a basketball tournament our daughter participated in at McCormick Place. The location of this property was PERFECT! It was only a short 8-12 min walk to the convention center (depending on your pace). We opted for the parking space in the lot, which was about one block over. The lobby was nicely appointed and there is a desk clerk available if you have questions or need assistance. Check in was seamless and communication with the property manager was easy and they always responded promptly, which I appreciated. The unit was spotless and looked exactly as pictured in the listing. The wall-to-wall windows in the living room let in wonderful light. The beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains were great. Although there is a train that runs about a block over in the back, I hardly noticed the sound during the day, and it did not disturb our sleep at night. There were plenty of dishes, utensils and cookware to use. The only thing I noticed that was missing was a spatula, but it looks like there may have been one in the original set, it probably just got misplaced over the course of time; I made do with the other utensils just fine. The in-unit washer/dryer was a plus, especially with an athlete who needs their uniform washed daily. It does take a while to run the full cycle though, since it's a combo unit. Over we had a fabulous stay, and we will certainly be back again next year!

Communication with the host was fine and the space for the most part had what we needed, but a few issues made our stay a bit unpleasant. First, cleanliness of the unit could have been better. When we checked in, the floor was still wet and had a strong bleach odor mixed with old air freshener. The stale smell lingered during our stay and we had to get fabreeze ourselves to eliminate the odor. The kitchen cabinets had grease stains and felt sticky to the touch. Housekeeping left toothbrush kits in each bedroom but some of the packaging were opened. There was also just a single bath towel in the unit for 8 people when we checked in. When we contacted the host immediately, they had to contact building management who didn’t have any towels available (stating that laundry didn’t arrive) and later brought 3 more towels in a garbage bag late in the evening (unsure of cleanliness). The next day, we had to ask for the remaining towels and finally they arrived (also in a garbage bag) after a few hours. The location was okay, but we wished the parking was connected to the building rather than across the street. Overall, it served our needs but we had hoped it was a nicer place/experience, especially with our kids, for the price.

Great property, great parking, very clean and very responsive host. One of the TV remotes needed batteries, messaged the host at 9:30pm and within 15 min new batteries was at my door.
