Close to grocery stores, dining and parks. 2.2 miles to Santa Fe Plaza downtown. 40 mins to Los Alamos, 17 miles to Santa Fe Ski Basin.Totally fenced with feeling of a family compound. Dog friendly subject to prior notice and payment of $100 non-refundable cleaning fee. Close to Santa Fe Trail, a multi-use trail that goes almost to Vargas Mall, through multiple parks and past restaurants and shopping.

Nice location and was just right for five adults! The kitchen was missing a few things which made cooking a challenge.

We are sorry you did not find everything you needed. We could not find scissors that you said were missing. We did find a second working can opener in the second drawer and the dustpan was under the sink. It is unfortunate that you could not locate the items that were there. Our scissors seem to get lost more often than we would like. We apologize for not having scissors on site.

The host was very thoughtful in providing any amenities a guest would need. I found the photos on the listing to be very accurate; the house was older but very clean, well maintained, and nicely decorated for the holidays. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, with a full size gas stove, appliances, cookware, and utensils. The patio/ backyard was pretty big, with areas for outdoor dining; there was a grill available, which we didn’t use. The king bedroom was spacious, with a large walk-in closet/ sitting area with a rollaway bed. The house was a good size for our group of 2 couples, 3 children, and a small dog. The location is a quiet residential area with nearby parks and grocery stores, but I would not consider it to be walkable, due to inconsistent sidewalks. We had 2 cars and were easily able to park in the large front driveway. It was close to Meow Wolf and the Railyard. We also went to Ski Santa Fe, which isn’t too far away; most of the drive is up the mountain.

I fell in love with Santa Fe 30 years ago, but it took a while for me to get here. I am retired now and have time to really enjoy the area. Sunsets are the best.

The house is a very peaceful place and I love the feeling of a family compound within the stucco yard wall and fences.

The house has multiple outside places to visit with each other or share a meal. It also has two living areas, with one without a TV for office work or quiet time.
