Welcome to your cozy retreat in Edgewater, CO! This downstairs guest suite is located in a prime spot between Denver, Lakewood, and gorgeous Sloan's Lake. Just a 10-minute stroll brings you to the park, perfect for biking, boating, and picnics. Don’t miss the Edgewater Public Market—great food, a rooftop bar, and charming boutiques, just a quick 5-minute bike ride away. Plus, The Edgewater Beer Garden is only two blocks down, serving up tasty bites and drinks. Enjoy your Cozy Below.
The space
This Cozy apartment has a 3/4 bath, bedroom with queen bed, living room, full kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. Everything you need for a couple nights or weeks long stay!
Guest access
The entire downstairs unit is your private space. The entrance is the north side of the house. Please use your unique key code that is provided 2 days before your check in.
Other things to note
One pet per group is allowed. The pet must be under 150lbs. A non-refundable pet deposit of $94 per pet will be added to the cost of your stay. Owner must pick up excrement after the pet before departure. An additional fee of $500 will be charged if poop is left in the yard or house. Any additional damages caused by the pet will be charged to the reserving guest.
The maximum number of guests is 4, however we do require an additional $20 per night per guest over 2 guests.

Property was clean and the host was very responsive when I messaged during the stay. Check in and out were seamless and reasonable. The only thing I wish could have been different was the shared space aspect. But I knew it was a shared space upon booking.

Nice kitchen, bath was good, bedroom and living room were ice cold and dark. There was a persistent and annoying smell of mercaptan from the gas stove. The matress was dirty which we did not see until we left three days early because of the freezing cold. It was noisy from the dogs upstairs running and people walking. The hosts tried to accommodate us by adjusting the temperature but because of the outside temperature were unable to get the downstairs temperature under control.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Vrbo. It was in a great location between Denver and Golden, in a very safe neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and other conveniences nearby. The owners were very nice and friendly, and we enjoyed visiting with them when we would see them coming back from our adventures.The unit had its own separate entrance, and parking was never an issue. It was especially nice to have free parking rather than paying the expensive parking fees at many Denver hotels. The basement unit was just the right size for two people, and having laundry available was a great bonus. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We mostly ate out during our stay, so we didn't really use the kitchen for cooking.Because the owners live in the main house above the unit, you can occasionally hear footsteps or a dog barking, but it didn't bother us. The only thing to be aware of is that you don't have individual control over the temperature. We stayed at the end of July, and when the air conditioning was running upstairs, the cool air still came through the vents even though they were closed, so the unit was a little chilly at times. There were plenty of blankets, though, and I'm sure the owners would have adjusted the temperature if we had asked—we just didn't want to bother them.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this Vrbo to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay near Denver and Golden!
