Steve unfortunately has some mental issues which he has acknowledged in writing to us, when he actually sent us the brain scans he had taken recently, while apologizing for his behavior during his stay. He over occupied the home, surpassing the legal limit, and in the many conversations we had with him, where we asked him to vacate the property before the Police were to be called, he broke down and begged to stay. We let him and his family see out their vacation,a nd he rewarded us with this cowardly, but otherwise predicable rating, which VRBO really should remove. Steve needs some help, though on a professional level I would urge anyone even considering renting to him in future, to reconsider based on his mental capacity to look after somebody else's home, abide by the ruies of the home and the State, and behave like a responsible adult. We have paid the price for Steve's issues, after trying to help him and his family. We will not make that mistake again.

Yolanda only communicated with us once from the moment she booked, to the minute she left, and that was to ask, on the morning of arrival, for an early check in, which we could not grant due to the previous guest leaving that same day. She declined to give us the names of the guests, or the drivers to pre-register at the gate, all legally required, and had no negative feedback whatsoever during, or after, her stay. The rating is therefore a surprise, and quite disappointing, and was left 3 weeks after she went home, but in hindsight we should be grateful, if only because it is the only written communication she ever made at any point in the last 6 months. We would still love to know what she felt only merited that rating, but in truth it will be the fact that we couldn't give her the early check in, which probably says more about Yolanda than it does about us.
