Why they chose this property

Set on a beautiful Intracoastal cove, The Gilded Compass offers a rare blend of tranquility and adventure. Watch dolphins glide past the dock, toast the sunset over shimmering waters, or launch straight into the sea with kayaks and paddle boards for the whole crew. Back on land, the backyard is pure fun — a heated pool, outdoor dining under palms, and space for laughter. It’s a private paradise where every day feels like treasure. ⚓

What makes this property unique

At The Gilded Compass, adventure is built in. Your entire crew can ride together to the beach in style with two six‑seat golf carts — no one left behind on this voyage. And when it’s time to set sail, we provide four single kayaks, two tandem kayaks and four hard shell paddle boards, enough for all ten guests to explore the coves and currents side by side. Whether cruising the island or paddling the sea, every guest shares in the fun. ⚓
