Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
While the home “may” be impressive, the management company SkyHigh and Leanne Flashberg specifically are incredibly heartless, disingenuous and without empathy. We secured this home to celebrate the end of chemotherapy for a dear friend alongside his 56th birthday. However, when they were notified of two emergencies directly before the reservation, her and the owner’s plain colors shined through as greedy, misleading and deceptive. I had hopes when they were willing to honor moving our reservation as our friend became deeply ill following his last chemotherapy session the week before and being admitted to the hospital. What was once assured that they would be empathetic to the issue and move the dates, they returned less than 21 hours from their offer to rescind and deny any concessions to move the dates. Plainly said, they were more interested in swallowing hard-earned money from friends that were supporting a dying friend in his last moments. We were told simply that because they have an ongoing stay in their system (the stay was to start a full 36 hours after notice) and that the check-in period had passed, they would be unwilling to move the reservation. I received this message while sitting chair side our friend in the hospital only 21 hours after they confirmed they would be willing to move the dates. All-in-all, the property owners, SkyHigh, Leanne and the entire team showed their character as seedy, greedy and heartless folks. Don’t send good money to heartless people
