This is a charming, well loved home. The location is great, no more than 15 minutes to any of the hot spots or beaches. Sam was a lovely and communicative host. That said this is an older home that is showing its age and could use some maintenance. We found lots of cobwebs and the crawling bugs that tend to accompany them. A good deep cleaning, pest control, and a few repairs would go a long way.

Yes it is a Charming well loved home in which we do updates every few years. Last was 3 years ago all of upstairs and downstairs LR had real T&G hard wood floors. Also as a courtesy we can get ur car ferry ticket to MV. Getting noon times to 4:00pm over and 1:15pm off. Cleaning our home is professional done and I show up at times to see how they are doing. I called Antonia to check in early. If she wanted. She texted me that everything looked good upon arriving. It was not until 5 days later that she texted me to say she found a spider and web. I said I’d come over. She declined. Every effort is done to create the comfort of being home on vacation. Sometimes we don’t bat 1000.

Great location and comfortable Home!

This is a very comfortable home with a location great for getting everywhere and doing anything - walking, biking, heading to beaches or just sitting on the deck to read. Owner happy to share information about the island and easy to contact!

Exactly What We Needed

It a really cute house with exactly the amount of space for 6 women. Love that the house is so secluded, but we were just a short drive from where we needed to get to. Sam was a great host. Always quick to respond. This all played a factor in us having a wonderful vacation on our 1st time on the Island!

Wonderful Vineyard vacation

Great location, close to Oak Bluffs and Edgartown. Our favorite beaches were both between 5-10 minute drive. Trips to the Flying Horses and Ben and Bills in Oak Buffs, a sunset picnic at the East Chop Lighthouse, lots of beach time and clamming in the lagoon just some of the things we did. The house was spacious, the kitchen had all we needed and more to create some great seafood dinners! Our host was great, very accomodating and quick to respond! Thanks Sam, for sharing your home w/us!

We had a great stay overall and enjoyed our time at the property. The owner is quick to respond and was a great host. However, there were a few maintenance issues that affected our experience. The basement had a noticeable musty moldy smell that impacted some of our guests, and the water heater seemed damaged, limiting hot water availability. Additionally, the downstairs shower drain had some issues. While the home has potential and a lot of charm, it could benefit from some updates and repairs.

Hi I wish I knew aboutmusty I could have adjusted the dehumidifer in the cellar where the W/D are. Again Hot Water can be adjusted and u mentioned I respond quickly. The comment about Updates Is confusIng? As u did not say what. 2 years ago we installed natural oak hardwood thruout the house. U did say the house was charming tho.

My family had an absolutely wonderful stay! Sam was incredibly attentive and helpful, both before and during our trip, and his thoughtful local suggestions made our visit even more memorable. The house itself is stunning—beautiful, well-lighted, spotless, and with large spacious, very comfortable rooms. It was fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils you could need and well-stocked bathrooms, making our stay effortless and relaxing. The home also offers fantastic indoor and outdoor sitting areas, perfect for spending quality family time or simply unwinding. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, yet the location is ideal—just 5 minutes from downtown Edgartown, easily accessible by car or bus, and with easy access to multiple beaches. The house is even more beautiful in person than the photos show, and it truly felt like home away from home. We couldn’t recommend this property more and would absolutely stay again!

Edgartown Vaca

Sam’s place is an ideal location. The home is nestled into a very quiet, wooded lot. The driveway is spacious for vehicles and bikes. The home has great indoor and outdoor spacing to include a deck for dining & relaxing; yard for lawn games; and open floor plan. The home was clean with the exception of a few cobwebs, but I would rather a few cobwebs than other issues! Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless! Sam’s communication was top notch. He readily and thoroughly helped us with the ferry and a/c. Outside of the home. It is easy to get to towns, beaches, bird sanctuary, market, and biking/ walking trails. I highly recommend this VRBO.
