Bahama Bay Resort is situated on the banks of the secluded, tranquil and picturesque Lake Davenport. With over 70 acres of landscaped gardens, lawns, lagoons, and fountains - it makes a truly beautiful place to stay. Within easy reach of Disney World and all the other major attractions that Orlando has to offer, the resort is the ideal holiday home for you and your family.

This spacious apartment can accommodate up to six people and offers everything you would expect from a home away from home, with plenty of private space to make the most of the sun. Consisting of 3 large bedrooms (the master has an ensuite), lounge with balcony, dining area, kitchen, family bathroom, and a fully equipped laundry area.

In addition to the well-appointed accommodation and on-site amenities, when you stay with us, you can count on more than a clean home! Before every guest stay, homes are cleaned and reset. A systematic method is used to ensure that every part of the home is guest-ready and once the home is thoroughly cleaned, both hard and soft surfaces are treated with a hospital-grade, EPA-approved disinfectant in line with CDC cleaning recommendations and guidance from hospitality industry experts, such as the Vacation Rental Management Association's SafeHome guidelines.

Great Stay

The bed in master suite was uncomfortable. Condo was perfect for us. Loved that there was a splash pad and pools, also fishing. Apple Maps took us to the wrong place but google maps got us to the right place.

The perfect getaway!

We could not have been any more thrilled with our stay here! The condo was fabulous. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The property was beautiful and tucked away from the hustle of the city. There was so much to do we spent a fair amount of time just relaxing at the resort! I can not recommend this property enough! We hope to return!

Large, comfortable, quiet condo with great parking!

This condo fit all of our needs. It was close to family and needed shopping--Publix, Walmart, Lowe's. Large kitchen and bedrooms, nice bathrooms. It was great to open the sliding doors onto the screened balcony. Easy to check in and check out. Thank you!

Great place

It has every aminety you would want. We love the pool area. This was our 2nd stay and I am sure we will stay again. Great location. Restaurants and grocery store near. 40 min drive with traffic to Universal. The only problem we had both times is that they did not have our name at the gate.

Lovely, clean accommodation

We've recently returned from a lovely stay at Bahama Bay. Accommodation was clean and well located for Disney World and Universal. Air conditioning and ceiling fans kept us cool at night which was essential in the August heat and humidity. We loved the splashpad but otherwise didn't use the rest of the resort facilities as we were kept very occupied with parks. We would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

Perfection!

I have family in Southern IL and this was perfect for my family and I to stay in. It's very clean and tidy. It has all the necessities needed to enjoy bathing, eating, laundry, and the pool was an added plus!! The hosts were very kind and understanding of my late arrival. I highly recommend staying there. It certainly beats a hotel by all means!! I will definitely be staying there again. Thank you so much.

Location is great

So the location and property is great. Nice pools, splash pad and fishing pier. I will say the actual house is a little dated but a good size. The Two twin bedroom could use updated mattresses as they squeak anytime you move. Oh and maybe add a couple more bar stools instead of just the one but really nothing big. The check in process was smooth and the person working was extremely nice. Overall we would definitely book again and probably laugh at the squeaking bed.

Great pick

My kids and I really enjoyed our stay with all the amenities we didn’t leave the property much. Yes we went to Disney and did shopping but with the pools and splash pad my kids didn’t want to leave. I did have an issue with the individual that stayed on top.. lots of noise and moving furniture but I contact front desk and they solve the issue quickly… I will be rebooking in the future

Excellent Stay!

We had a great experience staying in this condo with our two children, ages 12 and 7. The entire condo complex was very well maintained, clean, and had everything we needed. During our stay, we used the pool and hot tub, and our kids used the splash pad. The pool area and splash pad area were super nice! This specific condo was also located very close to one of the pools, hot tubs, and splash pad which was very convenient for us. We also liked that the entire area felt very quiet and safe. It is in a gated complex and there was a guard on duty at all hours. Check in and check out were also super easy! The actual condo itself was very spacious and clean. We loved having all of the extra room! The condo complex is located in a great location , not far from Disney parks. It took us about 25 minutes to get to each Disney park, depending on traffic. Having stayed on Disney property during many previous trips , this is far less time than it took us to use the Disney bus system to return to our Disney hotel. We were absolutely thrilled with the value of this place...I would love to stay here again!

Bare basics

This is our 5th time staying at Bahama Bay, each time at a different condo. This condo had the bare basics. The furnishings were not high quality. There was a filthy, stained chair in one of the bedrooms (I put it in the closet so I didn’t have to look at it) half of the outlets didn’t even work, the couches were very uncomfortable and worn, there were no bar stools at the kitchen counter, only one extra blanket in the whole condo and the bedrooms by the front door need room darkening shades to keep out the outside lights at night and the bright sunlight in the morning. There was a burn hole in the counter on the sink in the 2nd bathroom and part of the kitchen counter by the sink was peeling off. We had very disruptive neighbors upstairs that we had to call security about 4 times. That is not Nicki’s fault and she did complain to management but they were unresponsive and it was hard for her to contact them with the time difference in Europe. The condo was priced very well but you don’t get the little upgrades the other condos we have stayed at have.

The property was great. Three bedrooms gave everyone a bit of alone space. The pool towels being included was a nice bonus. Very convenient to Disney. Wish I had talked husband into staying here when he joined me and friends had left. So much better than moving to Quality Inn for 5 nights.

Listing could do with a few more pictures. The space was great, really good size. 2 adults and 4 kids (15/14/10/8) Having the washer and dryer was great. The dishwasher is very noisy, so only have on when your out. Overall, really like the place and would stay again.

The area is beautiful, the amenities are close by and I have all the facilities I need on site. This is truly a 'home away from home' for me - I love the climate, the people & the lifestyle.

Why they chose this property

Although I live in the UK, my family originates from the Caribbean. I was instantly drawn to Bahama Bay as the resort reminded me of Jamaica and it's laid back culture...but being a city girl - I also want some activity. It is perfectly located for the fun of Disney, shopping at the outlets and relaxing in the spa or by the pool.

What makes this property unique

Every trip I have made has been different! There is something for everyone - whether you like the thrill of roller coasters, want a new wardrobe, want to enjoy the wildlife or to be pampered. My apartment is a perfect escape from the 'hustle and bustle' of Disney and many other parks, yet close enough to enjoy the ever-changing attractions.
