Thank you so much Kerry for your kind comments. We are so pleased you had a great stay despite the up and down weather. It’s still a very beautiful spot to watch the river life and enjoy days out to all parts of Cornwall.
Hopefully you will return one day.

Everything ran smoothly, from directions, wifi, check in, attention to detail, beautiful and unique place with lovely crockery, good quality linens, great art, special little collection of books, and a wonderfully thoughtful complimentary bottle of excellent French wine, and olives.
We had a lovely, relaxing stay in Pentye. The property was comfortable, clean and well equipped for two. It's in a good location for exploring the wider area and also great to sit on the balcony to watch the birds and ever changing tides of the river.

A fantastic week in this perfect little cottage. The view from the little balcony is absolutely beautiful and relaxing as you watch the tide ebb and flow. Excellent walking, cycling and kayaking from the front door as well as along the coast path.
Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay in Lerryn, very pleasant village away from the more busy towns. Good access to National trust beaches and lovely attractive walk along the river. Accommodation is well situated, comfortable bed, more than adequate.

Lovely little house, very clean & had everything you need. Views from the terrace were amazing, perfect spot for a glass of wine while the river came up to our steps. Great local pub & shop & good base for exploring the local area if you can tear yourself away from the river. Would definitely stay again

Lovely accommodation in beautiful Lerryn. The cottage is small but was plenty big enough for 2 adults and our dog. We enjoyed walking around Lerryn and driving around the area. We had good weather. We kept an eye out on the high tide, and we enjoyed watching all the wildlife on the river. Thank you for a lovely stay.
A perfect property for two persons wanting to relax in a peaceful environment with plenty of local walking options, and a great view of the river from the breakfast area and outdoor terrace. You can waste hours just sitting and watching the ebb and flow of the tide! Great food at the local pub which is about 30 seconds walk away!

Thanks Oliver for such a lovely review despite not great weather !
So pleased you enjoyed the peaceful environment and views. I agree just watching the tide can be very relaxing.
Hopefully you may return another year.
Really enjoyed our stay. The property is compact ( as described) , well equipped and in a great location. There are excellent walks from the Village. Both the Village Shop and Pub are to be recommended. The River is ever changing and yes, at high tides does come over the road out side!

From day 1 to the last day,we enjoyed everything about this cottage and the area.
Thie tide tmes are amazing, high tide comes right upto the cottage steps amazing.
Cottage is spotless, lovely wet room shower.
Are we rebooking? Absolutely YES.
The Ship Inn is lovely too.
A beautiful property in a stunning location by the river. There is lots to see and do locally. I was a solo traveller and felt perfectly safe the entire time. Everyone was friendly at the local shop and pub The property was clean ans Michele was easy ti communicate with as well as being helpful, supportive and friendly. I’d thoroughly recommend.
We loved our stay at Pentye. The property has been beautifully converted into a very comfortable little house. We knew Lerryn from a previous visit many years ago so were delighted to find accommodation right next to the river. We spent many happy hours watching the tide & the birds and loved our riverside walks. It's a very special place and the village itself is a gem. Great location for exploring inland as well the south coast of Cornwall. Thanks to Michele for letting us stay in her delightful holiday home :)

Thanks so much Dorothy for your very lovely review. I’m so pleased you had a good time despite mixed weather.
I hope you may return another time it’s such a pleasure to host such lovely guests

Very quiet location, excellent views to the river. Great walks in the woods nearby and along the river. Everybody very friendly in Lerryn. Only drawback and I see from other reviews is the excedingly small wetroom. Once you have showered everything ends up getting wet. Perhaps the wetroom could have been bigger especially since there is some cupboard space which could have been integrated into the room.
We had the most FABULOUS time @ PENTYE
Cottage is absolutely beautiful everything we could want was there for us.
THANKYOU for the wine & biscuits they went down a treat lovely touch.
Loved that everything was quality no expense spared very tasteful.
If it’s peace quiet & relaxation then this place is for you …
We WILL DEFINITELY return .. didn’t want to leave.
We walked & walked definitely recommend the Ship Inn
THANK YOU for allowing us to share your beautiful cottage ☺️
Lerryn is a hidden gem and a relaxing and tranquil place to stay
We had a lovely and much needed break here in Lerryn. The village and surrounding areas are just stunning, tranquil and relaxing. The cottage is comfortable and clean and has all the things that you need with outstanding River views. Great place to have a glass of wine on the terrace in the evening watching the Kayaks and Boats on the river.
The High Tides that the Owner warned us of came up daily on our stay although very exciting to see how far they come up. Would really recommend this cottage for a relaxing holiday and cant wait to return .

A cosy, small cottage that is on the rivers edge (occasionally in the river with high spring tide lapping up & over the first step into the cottage). Compact space with everything you need in the kitchen. Parking wasn’t ever a problem, parked outside the village hall each evening to avoid the high tides. Wonderful setting, nothing quite like watching the ebb and flow of the river.
Michelle responds quickly to any questions and was very helpful.
