7 Gloucester Square is a charming, three bedroom mews house with integral garage in a very quiet yet central Edinburgh location. Gloucester Square has no through traffic and is located off Gloucester Lane in the heart of Edinburgh's Georgian New Town. Please get in touch if you are looking for a short break as the pricing doesn't always adjust correctly for stays of less than a week.

Beautifully presented and furnished, Gloucester Square has two floors. On the ground floor there is an excellent large kitchen/dining room, and a double bedroom which has an ensuite shower room. There is also a separate family bathroom with bath & shower. Upstairs is a spacious, airy living room with cosy gas stove, lovely comfy sofas and a study area with a desk. Upstairs there is also a twin and a single bedroom. The house benefits from a large single garage for your use and WiFi broadband. The house is only a 5 minute walk from Princes Street and the bustling 'village' of Stockbridge. Popular Stockbridge is full of fabulous bars, restaurants,and food shops as well as antique stores and cafes. The picturesque Dean Valley is a hidden gem with a tranquil walk along the Water of Leith. You won't believe you are in the heart of the city.

Great location especially for the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe. Perfect layout for 5 adults. Third bedroom a bit on the small side but ok for a short stay like ours of 5 days. Garage was a real bonus our Hinda FRV fitted in perfectly. Hosts were very supportive and prompt with any questions we had pre and during our stay. We would definitely recommended this charming property.

Fantastic! We loved the location (walkable to Royal Mile and Castle) and the amenities of the apartment! We were able to be very comfortable when we stayed in for the evening and cooked our own meals. It was the ideal base for our travels around Edinburgh. We really enjoyed our stay here for two weeks! The home is well kept, and it's within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, the Botanic Gardens, and an excellent farmer's market on Sundays. Highly recommend a stay here!

Very nice Mews house. We were very comfortable. Walked miles each day! We were able to retrace a visit to Holyrood palace that a relative made in 1931. She had given me her diary account when i was only 10!

Great there was parking, all instructions were very clear. There was a nice walk into town, not too close but that suited us, it was lovely and quiet. The upstairs was nicer than the downstairs (apart from an unfortunate mark on the mattress topper, which was perhaps an old burn?) The downstairs perhaps was suffering from a bit of damp? and was a tiny bit smelly. We slept upstairs as the smell was very off-putting in the en-suite. Though this meant single beds. Also the loo seat in the bathroom did not fit properly. Otherwise a nice stay.

We absolutely loved our stay in Edinburgh and highly recommend this lovely Mews to anyone looking for a comfortable home away from home. There are gorgeous garden views from the windows and lovely features to this historic Mews property. Close to shops, the Castle and Royal Mile. We will definitely be coming again :)

I have owned this house in Edinburgh since around 2009 but was brought up in the city and and lived and worked there for many years, on and off. I work with a great team who deal with changeovers and aim to have a very high standard of holiday let.

Why they chose this property

We bought this house because it's in an amazingly central, yet peaceful location on a square with no through traffic. There are no neighbours above or below and we have the benefit of an integral single garage.

What makes this property unique

Very central and yet a mews house (not an apartment) with a single integral garage in a city which is very challenging for car parking.
