Cute, cute, cute….Renovated ‘top to bottom’, this cottage is perfect for your family’s beach vacation. Sleeps 6, open & airy, vaulted ceilings, 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths plus an outdoor shower room. Features ALL NEW kitchen & bathes, granite counters, an abundance of cabinetry, COMFY BEDS, and chock-full of amenities.

Outside; Relax on the large deck with retractable awning, picnic table and chairs. Enjoy the great ocean breeze and a game of Giant Jenga in the shaded outdoor living space under the house with picnic table, hammock and chairs. Plus the big yard is perfect for outdoor playtime (bring your badminton, volleyball, corn toss, etc). Ground level shower room is so refreshing after a day at the beach (and keeps the salt & sand outside!)

Oak Island is a family friendly destination where families return each year to enjoy the beautiful beaches on the sandy shore of the Atlantic. Plenty of tasty casual & seaside dining nearby.

Venture beyond the beach to Southport waterfront (10min), historic Wilmington (30min), or Myrtle Beach (45min). Or take a short ferry ride to North Carolina Aquarium, Fort Fisher & Civil War Museum, & Bald Head Island.

Absolutely beautiful vacation home!! "Here's to Now" had everything we needed for a great weeks vacation. 5 minutes walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. Our family highly recommends this beach home and we will book again!

Beautiful Home

My family spent the week at this property and really enjoyed the beachy decor, high end finishes and fully equipped kitchen. The owners did a beautiful job updating this home and it felt like we were staying at a friend’s home rather than a rental. The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved using the outdoor shower and beach chairs. The house is very close to the beach and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely plan to stay at this property in the future!

Lovely beach house

Very nicely decorated - beautiful beach colors! The kitchen had everything you could possibly want. Very clean! A short walk to the beach. A lot of good restaurants in the area - Koko Cabana was fun. Also a short drive to South Port that has a lot of shops and restaurants. Recommend staying here and hope to go back!

We had a wonderful time at this house. Right across the street from the beach made the location perfect. We went in Oct so weren’t too sure if we’d swim but we were in the water all 3 days. House had everything for a comfortable stay but also had the extras which makes you want to come back! Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful stay!

One of our favorite vrbo experiences to date! Owners were easy to contact with questions or any concerns. The house was well decorated and furnished. It felt like we were visiting a family's beach home, not just a rental. Extremely clean and well kept up. The games and sand toys were a huge hit with our family. Very comfortable beds! We plan to visit again and stay here.

The house is very well appointed; we enjoyed the amenities provided. Appreciated having beach chairs to take to beach. The house is close enough to beach access. The host was very easy to touch base with, AC had an issue but the fall temperatures dropped enough that we didn't need AC. Such a very cute/quaint home that is obviously well-cared for. We would visit again.

Nice little getaway

The place was nice and clean, however we did have some issues with the tv / internet and under the house flooded pretty badly during heavy rains. But overall a comfortable and enjoyable experience and attentive hosts.

Oak Island Treasure

My family and I had a wonderful time at The Here to Now Beach House! Rich and Alison thought of everything when they set up their beautiful home! I absolutely loved the way they decorated the house. It is so close to the beach too! We enjoyed hanging out at the patio under the house. It was a great neighborhood to walk around. We even made our way to the local beach shop for ice cream and souvenir shopping. They offered lots of beach gear to use in case you forgot something. This was our first time to Oak Island and staying here made the experience even better! Thank you Rich and Alison for sharing your beautiful beach house with my family!

Lovely Beach Getaway

This house was just the right size for our family of four. We were just a few minutes walk from the beach- just two streets over. The house was very clean and the kitchen and baths were very nice. We enjoyed cooking here and the house was very comfortable. We also enjoyed hanging out below the house and using the hammock. The breezes were heavenly! The house is decorated really cute and was well thought out. I also appreciated the starter supply of soap, paper towels, tp etc. No matter how well I plan I always seem to forget something so it was really nice not to have to run out to the store right away. I also enjoyed reading your nature and history books. Thank you for a great week! Janet

Oak Island is such a family friendly beach environment and a great value. 1.3 minute / 350ft walk to the beach/ocean. Beach cottage charm updated with all the modern amenities. We hope to create the same great beach vacation memories for our girls and other families that we experienced as kids vacationing on the NC coast.
