We had a lovely time in Chicago. The Bucktown/Wicker Park neighborhood was wonderful. People were friendly and the food was great. Jean’s rental apartment was perfect. It was fully equipped, clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, Jean, the host, was very helpful. Highly recommend.
The apartment was very central to anything you'd want to do in Chicago. There was always parking nearby no matter what time of day we arrive. The stairs are very steep but the inside of the apartment is beautiful and clean. The floors are squeaky along with the doors but it was overall a charming apartment that id recommended.
Great property and very responsive owner! Was perfect for our group of four. Really enjoyed our stay. Bucktown area is very cute with many small artisan shops. It does take a bit to get into downtown if you are using public transit. Very near bus stop, but train/subway access is longer walk.
Great stay, great value. Awesome neighborhood with plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Easy communication and we loved the character of the vintage building. Would stay here again!
This apartment is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Chicago! Great food and shopping within walking distance. The beds are super comfy and the whole space is inviting and welcoming.
This place was very clean and all needed amenities were waiting for us including coffee in the freezer! Owner allowed us to drop off our bags early which was extremely appreciated! Enjoyed our stay, only regret was we needed a few extra days to enjoy the Bucktown area. Three nights in Chicago is NOT enough! Would stay here for a full week next time!
Bucktown House was a lovely spot to spend NYE with a few couple friends. The house was super clean and had gorgeous bathrooms. The bedrooms are small, but the beds were very comfy. Nice kitchen, super cute little sunroom in the back. Safe neighborhood with tons of nice shops and restaurants within walking distance.
The apt.was exactly as pictured including spa like amenities. Clean and very comfortable. Communication with Host was excellent. We hope to return next year. Hoping to return next Host The ease from booking to c
My friends and I stayed for a week at this property and it was the perfect place for our time in Chicago. The property was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The floors are squeaky but we loved the historic charm. Location was in a great neighborhood with walkability to nice shops and restaurants. Street parking was free and available close to the property, if not right in front of the building. The host was also responsive when needed. We would absolutely stay here again.
Great location .. homey, comfortable! We had a Little trouble working the remotes for TV.. We
loved being able to walk to local eatery’s and stores ! Easy access to downtown using Uber. We felt very safe in Chicago!
I rented this property for a girls weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday and I cannot begin to express how happy we all were with the property. We loved the historical charm mixed with current amenities. The location is in a beautiful neighborhood and the surrounding homes were gorgeous. I was initially concerned about the street parking but we were always able to find a spot close to the rental. The owner provided all of the items you need in a rental (towels, paper towels, tissues, even coffee). I would definitely rent this property again when in Chicago.
My family and I visited Chicago for my sons graduation from Northwestern University. This neighborhood is amazing. Very quiet, quaint with lots of beautiful scenery. We walked to the Royal Grocer where the food was amazing and staff great. At night we walked the beautiful neighborhood and went into many local pubs. Felt very safe. We also walked to Wicker Park and shops. Just a wonderful, young, friendly neighborhood with lots of nifty shops (young adults loved the vintage stores). The rental was clean, a ton of space for 6 adults, lovely and had everything we needed including toiletries. Only negative comment would be the steep stairs for the grandparents. Nothing the grandkids couldn't assist with though. Parking was never a problem as we rented a large SUV. Property Manager responded asap. Would love to come back and stay here again. I would recommend walking around the neighborhood and enjoy the old historic houses, churches and gorgeous flowers in the spring!
True as listed. The rooms were clean and had clean bed sheets and towels. Located in a nice quiet area. Street parking was not hard to find. I liked it because it was close to my daughter’s apartment. I would book this place again. It felt homey. I was able to communicate with the host quickly.
This place is just as described. Location great for taking the bus. Coffee and food a short walk. It is so well designed and welcoming. We loved every moment. We were 6 and it was perfect. Host was extremely responsive to inquiries.
Great little apartment. It was very clean and efficiently stocked. Worked really well with our 4 and 5 year olds. Location was 10/10 for us visiting family in Bucktown.
I secured this property far in advance and the process was seamless. Very nice property and a very nice neighborhood. Property manager responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again.
