The internal noise device doesn't have a camera but does measure volume levels throughout the home while guests are present. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion

All was good except rhe A/C which was really off beteen the first and 1nd floor.Pool srarted surging and co.pressor went on and off all nite one nite. This was due ro pool water levels veing low- the same depth when we got there. We then lost 2 days of pool heat due to pool filling

The first and second floors operate on a shared system, though the downstairs can feel slightly different when the pool area or front door is in use. Regarding the pool water level, we regret the low volume you encountered. This can occasionally occur due to guest usage and sun evaporation. The pool heater was only off for a short period, and our pool company installed a timer set for two hours to refill the pool to the proper level. They returned afterward to ensure everything was functioning correctly. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention, as it helps us continue to maintain and improve the property for all guests.

Beautiful getaway

My family and I took a trip to Florida for a family wedding. The house was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful surroundings. We loved how spacious the house was and it exceeded our expectations. If we’re ever in Haines city again , we would definitely stay here again .

Wonderful house to connect with family

The house was clean and well maintained and had sufficient cooking amenities. Very convenient to grocery stores. Our family loved the heated pool and patio area. We would certainly rent this house again. We have stayed multiple times in Southern Dunes and always like the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.

Property was lovely with nice pool and comfortable beds. Good location for parks too. Communication to resolve a few issues was very poor. I ended up having to fix a dishwasher issue , replace battery in smoke alarm and we were left with a light fitting hanging from the ceiling by the wires after it had come loose following an A/C leak. It was still like that when we left after reporting it over a week earlier and a few reminders. Not what you want on holiday.

Me and my family loved everything about this house. The house was clean with nice up to date appliances. The location of the house was perfect. We came to Orlando to go to Legoland and it wasn’t that far from this location. I honestly wish I could live in this house lol.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at this amazing home. The house was clean and cozy. I loved the up to date appliances in the home. Very nice and peaceful location. Very comfortable stay...me and my family plans were to go to legoland and which it wasn't that far away from the home. If I had the opportunity to book this home I will do it all over again. Spring Break 2024 family getaway

We had a great time! The house was beautiful, roomy, comfortable and quiet. My grandchildren loved the pool. We enjoyed visiting Central Florida especially Aquatica in Orlando. The grocery stores and fast food restaurants were so close, too! I believe the house could use fresh paint and deep cleaning the carpet in the stairs but it doesn’t interfere with the comfort and convenience.

Legoland get away

Owner was great and enabled prop mgr to get what we needed. My BIG complaint is that the property was advertised as 10 minutes from Legoland and it was almost 30 mins!!!!

Good place for family

House is basic but clean. Pool heater was never turned on. Hot tub was nowhere. Drinking water has terrible taste and odor. Host should provide a Brita filter. No salt and pepper but other kitchen stuff fine.

Cozy stay

Perfect house for my family. We were 8 people including 2 children and we all fit very well. The twin beds are wide enough for an adult. Nice neighborhood, clean house and very well equipped. The only thing that I would point out is that we didn't feel the pool was heated enough since the temperature of the water was a little lower than expected, other than that everything was fine.

Very nice and clean

The only negative thing I have to say is that the downstairs toilet seat was cracked and broken. It didn't get fixed while we were there, and one person in our party sat on it and got pinched badly, and also got cut and was bleeding. Hopefully it is fixed by now. Otherwise, everything was great!

Haines City Home

Very disappointed with this home. Rented on VRBO but was then sent to Evolve. Tried to communicate several times with the contact name and email I was given, with no response. After trying 1 more time, he said he never got a message even though I showed he "read" the message. Upon entering, it looked decorated pretty decent but it was dirty, smelled, huge cobwebs, filthy carpet and every window and shower had mold on them. Traffic was HORRIBLE! The Florida rental license was also expired. Would never stay here again! Have done vacations rental for many years and have NEVER written a bad review! Very Disappointing that we paid so much for an extremely gross place.

Unacceptable and unsatisfactory experience

With 40 and 50 degree weather, we had no heat. Had to use the oven for a little heat and buy space heater. Lukewarm water in master shower and had to leave the house to take a hot shower. We had to wear coats in the house to stay warm. The toilet ran on and off all day and night and couldn’t sleep for that. A shattered tv screen in one bedroom. A very bad experience and don’t want to rent there anymore if we had to stay with that home owner. The house needs to be updated.

Hi Lavonia, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We promptly responded when you reached out about the broken TV. We explained that a new TV was on the order as the previous guests had broken it. You expressed your dissatisfaction, so we went out, purchased another TV, and brought it to the home for you to use. - As noted in our Welcome Book, along with the instructions on how to operate the heating system, should the doors be left open for any amount of time, the heat will automatically turn off. However, when you reached out, we sent an HVAC technician to the home who confirmed the heating system was functioning correctly. - When you later reached out and mentioned issues with the hot water, went back to the property with a water thermostat, and determined the hot water was registering at the commercial temperature of 110 as opposed to a residential temperature of 125. The property manager also determined there were no issues found with the toilet. - While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Family holiday sadly spoilt by accommodation!

Not one of the best experiences we have had, on arrival the code was not correct so couldn’t gain access, after 9hr flight you don’t really want to have to start dealing with. The pool was full of debris and not very clean, the price of heating the pool is astronomical at $500+ dollars, garden furniture could have done with some cushions. Sofa was dirty with marks down one side and crumbs and muck left from previous guests!! There was also a problem with ants in the living room, master bathroom and bathroom, unfortunately this was highlighted with David, but unfortunately he didn’t even have the decency to contact us back…. I have stayed in other Southern Dunes villas and unfortunately this is in need of some desperate updating especially for the price. The house had a really damp musty smell which air fresheners didn’t shift…. So really think about what you’re booking

Regarding the access code issue, we understand how frustrating that must have been after a long flight. Unfortunately, the recent back-to-back hurricanes in the area caused unexpected power disruptions, which impacted our systems. However, we will review our procedures to prevent this from happening again. Cleanliness is one of our top priorities, and we take it very seriously. We have detailed documentation and photos taken after every cleaning done before a guest’s arrival, so I will review these to better understand what may have gone wrong in this instance. Regarding the issue with ants, it’s worth noting that many properties in Southern Dunes, including ours, faced similar challenges after the recent hurricanes, which can disrupt pest control efforts. Even so, I regret that this wasn’t resolved promptly, and I apologize for the lack of communication from David. That is not the level of service we strive to provide. David is very good and always on top of everything that needs to be taken care of.We take cleanliness very seriously and are committed to maintaining high standards. I will review the documentation from our cleaning team prior to your stay to investigate what may have gone wrong. The presence of ants is something we continuously manage, but the hurricanes did disrupt pest control efforts across the region. We apologize that this issue wasn't resolved promptly and for any lack of communication on our end. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. We are always working to update our property to ensure a comfortable experience for our guests. Recently, we installed a smart indoor air monitor to help control air quality and humidity levels, which may have been affected by the recent storms. We'll review the data to ensure everything is functioning correctly. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We are committed to making improvements and hope to provide a better experience for future guests. We appreciate your understanding during what has been a challenging time for the region.
