Villas of Island 3BR Condo Resort near Disney

This is a Grand Holiday 3 bedroom 3 bath condo apartment located in a gated community of Villas Of Island Club Resort only few minutes of Disney theme parks and Universal Studios. This condo comes fully furnished, high ceilings, spacious living and dining area, galley kitchen with breakfast bar, large walk in closets in each room, 2 large master bedrooms with private bathroom, 2 twin beds in kids bedroom. Also a nice patio that leads out to the rear of the property.

This Condo has a community pool, tennis courts, grill, gym, etc.

Pets are welcome on request with additional pet fee.

We require a refundable $200 security deposit for incidentals before check-in.

Long term rentals are welcome.

You get what you pay for. For a 3bed/3bath at this price I can’t complain too much, but this property is very neglected. The simplest maintenance items and cleaning are overlooked, and it was dirty and in poor shape. It started off bad with no instructions on the key for the pool/clubhouse, walls were dirty and scratched, blinds torn and missing, paint needed badly, outdoor furniture and mats disgusting, decor was old and cheap, dryer took about 3 rounds to dry, lightbulbs out, minimal toiletries. For the price this is what you get, but don’t expect to be impressed at all.

I am a part of a travel moms club, and we all split the price so that we can create memories. We don't mind cleaning and a few inconsistencies. However, I really wanted to work with the host, but many things kept occuring. We made it to FL around 1;30 and asked could we check-in earlier and was told that we could. We went to grab something to eat and buy things from Walmart. We ended up arriving after 4, which was original check-in time. The 'cleaners' were still there, and we couldn't enter. We waited around 25 minutes to get in (with our groceries in the car). OK. We brought our items up, and I did an inspection. There was a dirty pot in the oven with oil in it, many dirty spots throughout, rusty utensils, shabby repairs, a old smell, smudges on the stuffies on beds (one mom said she thought it was blood), and etc. We left early everyday and returned late because we had itineraries scheduled. One night we returned around 9 pm, and the air was out. This is FL, and it was in upper 80's and muggy so I contacted the host. They assured someone would be there by 12 the next day so we were stuck all night, and the next day without air. When we arrived back, it was fixed. I didn't ave great cell phone reception. All photos were sent within an hour or two of checking in because we started cleaning. We know we should have just let them cancel, but it takes days for a refund. Overall, the property needs a lot of work. The best part is that the host was very responsive.
