Washer and dryer on site—very helpful.lovely view of Areca palms off the comfy porch, excellent for shaded reading and dining. Host very helpful answering our questions before and during our stay. Perhaps the best aspect was the complete, restful silence, all day and night.

Better than the pictures! My husband and 8-year old really enjoyed our stay. Everything, including check-in and communication, was smooth. And reading on the lanai with a cup of coffee was a highlight of my trip. Wish they had a cottage on the other islands.

Our stay on Maui was lovely at this home. Words don’t quite do it justice, but my dad said it was the best night of sleep he’s ever had. The hosts were so kind & made sure we were well taken care of with snacks & coffee. The amenities were great too, having a washer & dryer was so helpful, & we even found a cooler to use, which made packing lunch perfect for our day trip to the National Park. It’s not far from shopping, the beach, or the Road to Hana. I would truly give this place 10 stars if I could!

A nice, quiet place to stay that had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out was easy. Enjoyed the small towns around the area, such as Paia and Makawao. Jaws just down the hill was a great place for coffee, various food, and wood fired pizza.

We really enjoyed are stay here. It's very easy to find and very clean. We also appreciated the breakfast munchies. The location is walkable to a great breakfast spot (even lunch or dinner) and is very quiet. We really enjoyed just having morning coffee/tea with the sounds of the birds around the property.

Quiet, private and everything I had hoped for. It had everything I needed and then some. Wonderful host. By no fault of their own, the internet was down and he communicated frequently about updates from the internet provider. I was lucky enough fo have a friendly visitor that, Robert tells me, is good luck!The only downside to this cottage, is that I had to leave! Highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Palm Cottage is an absolute gem! It’s wonderfully quiet and peaceful, tucked away from all the rush and busyness of the big resort areas, yet still close to everything Maui has to offer. The location makes it easy to enjoy the island’s amazing beaches, activities, and sights, while giving you the perfect retreat to relax and recharge at the end of the day. If you’re looking for comfort, serenity, and a spot that feels like your own private hideaway but with quick access to all the best of Maui, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Serenity and privacy in a beautiful place

Palm Cottage is perfect for an adult couple who value privacy and beautiful surroundings. It’s a country place, but not remote; local towns, the beach and the Haleakala summit are all reasonably close and gorgeous. Hosts have it well stocked and communicate effectively but not intrusively. Great stay!

Peaceful retreat

All the 5 star reviews got it right! Wonderfully peaceful and the ideal location to explore the North Shoe, Paia, road to Hana etc. Just the re-charge we were hoping to get when we booked our stay. Quiet cottage surrounded by flora, swaying palms, etc. Loved our time, when we return to Maui we hope the Oswald’s are still renting, fantastic hosts!
