Property was easily found and we were able to get access after a quick call to host. Host immediately fixed the lock and we were off to a wonderful weekend of Celebrating with my full family that lives spread across 3 states. Property was nice and cozy, just what we needed for our stay. A little surprised when he heard footsteps above us at night. Didn't realize there was a unit above us, but it was okay. Nothing that shattered our weekend, just took us a little by surprise. Would absolutely stay again. Location was perfect for us. Between Butler Uniiversity and Indianapolis.
This duplex is very close to the State Fairgrounds, Art Museum, Children's Museum, and Monon Trail. Lots to see/do; very convenient. The neighborhood is a mixture of homes/properties that look newly renovated, and a few that could use some love. We saw Pride flags hung up (It was June), and the area felt welcoming to the LGBT+ community. The host has an eclectic art collection, which adds a nice aesthetic to the place. Bedding and pillows were comfy. The host provided coffee (K cups), which was great. There are also some coffee roasters/cafes nearby (such as Command Coffee). Plenty of street parking was available. There were some items on the sidewalk nearby (not in front of the house) that made it a bit challenging to walk the dog (broken glass, food, etc). Everything else was great.
We were in town for a baseball tournament at Grand Park and needed a place that allowed dogs. There was plenty of privacy, and the yard was good sized. This is an updated, up down apartment in a triplex, and it is exactly like the pictures, there was plenty of space for three people and a dog. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. It was about 40 minutes from the ball park and most of downtown was less than 15 minutes away.
