What a great place! Beautiful and serene…Our host was exceptional and the place had all the amenities needed. Highly recommend in a beautiful location and very private!
Wonderful location and views each morning, place very clean and well stocked, close access to town and major highways. Pleasant and cordial host with great recommendations.
Our host Peter was a great communicator! The pictures of the cabin were just as it was in person. Perfect for a couple wanting to relax! Would definitely stay there again!
Beautiful, cozy property right on the Kennebec River. Perfect!
Exactly as described. Cozy, beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. Great views, and the owner was helpful, friendly, there when we had a question, but unobtrusive. Great location for easily getting to the locations along the coast we wanted to visit.

Wonderful Stay!
I traveled to Maine with my son to drop him off for camp and we spent a few nights at this wonderful property. The hosts are fantastic and very attentive to their guests. They have taken a great deal of care in restoring this lovely property which has incredible views of the Kennebec river and is close to all that Bath has to offer! The cabin is a bit rustic, but is quite cozy and well appointed. I would happily book another stay the next time that I am in Bath!

Tranquil oasis!
The home was cozy, with a comfortable bed and great decor. We enjoyed coffee by the water in the morning with the fog and the owners ducks that roamed the yard. The owner was kind and helpful but also gave us our privacy, and even gave us duck eggs to enjoy! Despite feeling tucked away the property is only a few minutes from downtown Bath where we enjoyed multiple meals. I would love to stay here again when I return!

We love the cabin and the location!
We spent a whole week in the cabin and we love it! The landlord is very personable, friendly, helpful, and present if needed but without being intrusive. The view from the cabin is gorgeous and the studio itself is wonderful. Bath is centrally located many worthwhile sights, and the cabin is close to downtown and its amenities. Highly recommended! Amazing cabin in Maine!!
Our stay in this beautiful cabin was amazing! Peter and his wife are wonderful hosts, their cabin is spotless and thoughtfully appointed for guests. They really thought of all the little details that can make your stay even more special! We even received fresh duck eggs for breakfast. Beautiful view of the river! We will be back and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a calm and peaceful respite from their everyday lives!
We just finished a weeklong stay and enjoyed the location as it allowed us to easily viist the region. Day trips inclubed Boothbay harbor, Pemaquid Point, Wisscasett, Bruinswick, and, of. Course Bath and it’s environs.
and daily walks into town along WQashington Stret wiht it’s well maintained homes and from the 1800’s.

Shared from the owner: "Hi Mary. Thanks for the excellent written review, which reflects the kind of 5-star service we work hard to provide for all our guests."
My wife and I stayed at this house in Bath for a week. It was a great location for many activities. The house was clean, had everything we needed and has a great view.
Peter has put his heart and soul into this little cabin and it shows. We were charmed the minute we walked in the door and enjoyed our all-too-short stay. The location is a terrific jumping off point to explore the area and is about a 15 minute walk to restaurants and shops. We swam off the dock and enjoyed the fresh duck eggs that Peter and Johanna gifted to us our first morning. Communication was spot on, and if we are lucky enough to return, there’s no place I’d rather come back to.
Had a really amazing vacation in Maine, with this VRBO as a terrific home base for our adventures. Super clean, beautiful location, would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was very much as it appears on the site- old fashioned decor but with a lot of thought and charm. Cabin is small but has everything you need. Wonderful water view of Kennebec River. Host is friendly and helpful.
We used to live in Bath, and this guest house reminded us why we loved it so much. The view was lovely, the hosts were helpful, and the amenities were as described. We will be back.
At the banks of Kennebec River, a stone throw away from Downtown Bath, Peter is offering the perfect base to explore Maine's coast, ideally with your boat.
Beautiful location right on the river. Hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Great and well appointed cabin that is very unique. Lots to do all within an hour's travel. Highly recommended.

My wife and I sought a quiet retreat for the long Memorial Day weekend, and this quaint apartment by the sea was exactly right. The rooms are rustic, with attractive woodworking, without being overly primitive. The weekend was a bit chill and damp, but the faux woodstove warmed the space nicely.
The onsite host was charismatic and interesting, and helpful when needed, but never intrusive.
The exercise facilities are minimal; however, the sauna there is perfection.
While in Bath we toured the Maine Maritime Museum, which we wholeheartedly recommend, and walked from the cabin to Thorne Point for some nice views of the Kennebec.
