Fácil acceso al centro de Chicago a través de la línea azul. Amplio aparcamiento gratuito en la calle! Central para todo. Restaurantes y bares a pocos pasos y cerca. Lavandería privada, wifi, smart tv, netflix, tv directa.

Todo el apartamento es tuyo. Lavandería (lavadora / secadora) ubicada en el sótano.

Jefferson Park está cerca de la línea azul que va directamente al aeropuerto O'hare y al corazón del centro de Chicago. Se puede acceder fácilmente a todos los restaurantes del área de Chicago (Wrigley, United Center, Soldier Field) y restaurantes. Not ready at check-in & zero compensation

Our check in was Friday @ 4pm, we arrived late on Saturday at 5pm & it wasn't ready. Unlocked door walking into: dirty sheets, dirty dishes & towels, and lots of crumbs. When I called, I was blamed for being marked as a no show? I reviewed we had a contract and it is my prerogative to arrive late, but their duty to have it ready. I was told it could ready in an hour or I could cancel. Obviously, I did not have other arrangements. I got a call an hour later and it appeared clean, but when I went to make food all of the silverware appeared dirty as did many of the other dishes. We were unable to use with TV with no access to any streaming app. This was extra difficult with 2 kids, both of which have some special needs. I was offered an additional night as compensation (Sun night), but we live out of state and had to return to work and school. I countered with a request for half of my money back, due to it not being ready and the inconveniences this caused (had to eat dinner out, had to leave and return to our event to unpack and settle in, then the code provided was wrong and I had to call again). Again it was reviewed that I was a 'no show.' I explained I was not asking for refund because we came late, but because it wasn't ready and the many inconveniences this caused. Long story long, they would not refund any money and then offered my family free haircuts at the owner's salon downstairs. I again explained we live out of state & don't want or need haircuts.

Cannot comfortably sleep 4

Host was very nice and responsive, but as seen with other reviews- the lockbox code was wrong and I had to call her for the new one The pullout couch was very uncomfortable and actually broken in some parts so I ended up folding it up and sleeping on the couch. It’s also small and probably couldn’t fit 2 people- so not sure how it could fit 4 comfortably.. Be aware there is no first aid kit- I had to go and get band aids and there is no coffee/tea but there are appliances to use DONT use the blowdryer left there, it blew smoke..not great Overall a great stay and those are just good things to note

Cozy affordable unit, good location

We had a few initial challenges (key box combination had been changed, wifi password not shared, hard to find towels and blankets for the fold up bed, etc), there was only a roll and a half of toilet paper for 3 people for 4 + days, remote controls for TV were cracked, no outlets or reading lamps by the bed. On the other hand, the hosts were very responsive, the unit was clean, kitchen well equipped, comfortable bed, easy access to public transportation, nice area.

Double booked, unable access property

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!! Booked & paid in full months ago…upon our arrival unable to access property because another customer was staying there due to a double booking:(( Thanks to VRBO we were given a free one night stay at a local hotel plus a full refund. They advised free parking but it was street parking only.

we were looking for a nice place to stay in the city while we saw the sights and visited family in the area. This was a perfect location and nice place to stay.

Nice Location & Clean

The property was nice. The location is a bit odd to get to the door as the picture of the front of the building, on that street, there are several that look the same. It was late (10:00) when we arrived the first night and the lighting was pretty dark. Since there are several locations and figuring out the door was on the side of the building, through a fence on the left and the door on the right was odd. We used our cellphone flashlight - was no prob but just think about making 1 trip to open the place and the next to being your items in. Also when you arrive walking into the only bedroom was a little odd but was fine after you walk in and see the place. There is no bathtub and a very small shower. The bathroom is also small but it has everything you need with a sink, toilet and shower. Was very nice being provided some trial shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, Q Tips, and handful of other items in case you may have forgotten them. Be sure to bring your hairdryer - I anticipated there would be one and there was not. No worries as this was a low key trip for us but others may care. We experienced you have to watch your email or you would not have the details of the check in and out (with the passcodes to get in). We did not receive the right code so had to call as we could not get the key out. Norma answered the 2nd call (as I mentioned, it was late so made sense and Norma was nice). The VRBO was a nice place, location and easy to get in and out - just know there is construction which you can quickly accidentally pass the location. Also there is no way this sleeps 6 people unless 2 are babies in a pack-in-play or mobile crib. The master bed could hold 2 people and the pull out couch possibly 2 more but that is all. As the door in is in the master bedroom, know the wall with the door is pretty thin so you can easily hear others coming and going but after they are out of the hallway, you do not hear them at all. The kitchen was fully stocked, the table chairs were comfortable and the options if you were to cook were nice with some added appliances: blenders, roaster, slicer, etc. We did not cook but could have easily here. The television was a smart tv so we could log into our subscriptions and watch some of our shows. All-in-all was a good trip. Thank you and based on the needs we had this time, we would come again.

Great little property with an amazing owner.

This was our 1st trip to Chicago and the property owner could not have been more helpful. I am a nervous traveler anyway and she put me totally at ease. The ad states it sleeps six. There is just 1 double bed and a sofa bed. I dont see where 2 more people could sleep. Also, there is only 1 A/C in the bedroom which didn't fully cool the rest of the apartment. This would NOT keep me from renting the unit again as the weekend we were there was unusually hot and we spent very little time in the room. Finally, it would have been nice to know that the washer/dryer were actually coin operated. Again, would not affect me renting again, but I'd just make sure I bring quarters next time. Location was an easy 10 minute walk to the blue line in a very safe neighborhood.
