Perfect Getaway to the Gulf

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently stayed at Emerald Hills for a long weekend to get one last beach trip in before summer ended. The complex was very quiet and laid back. Our room was clean and spacious! Being able to walk right out the back door and head straight down to the beach was perfect. It was exactly what we were in search of for a beach front vacation. I would highly recommend this place!

Love 30A area and having a private beach.

Condo could have been a bit cleaner. Corners and detailed areas need a good scrubbing. Bed was comfortable and had enough pillows. Suggest providing 2 beach chairs. Love the availability of having a private beach. Public beaches looked so crowded. Also providing more than one roll of toilet paper would be nice especially for stays longer than a couple days. Will rent there again and wanting to buy in that area someday.

Great view

Small but adequate for two people. We booked at the last minute so glad to be able to find a clean and good location for reasonable summer prices. We love this area. Kitchen is very small so don’t plan on cooking, we eat out. The bathroom needs updating. Overall a good place to stay for a short period of time.

Cleaning needed a bit more touch ups as we found a dead roach under the living room table but overall I had a good experience here and check in/out was very easy.

I liked the proximity to the beach and seagrove location. I would not stay here again. I slept poorly because of how uncomfortable both mattresses were. The sprinklers would turn on outside and not only would I get sprayed with water while trying to enjoy my coffee, the water also smelled like sulfur. Pretty unpleasant. We also lost power for about 3 hours one afternoon which was annoying.

Kitchen was well stocked and had everything you could need. Bedroom Pillows were dollar store quality. Bathroom tile and toilet bowl had mold and tub had dirty feet marks. Bathroom Ceiling had black mold. Dryer ruined half of our clothing leaving brown streaks all over each article of clothing. Bedroom had no ceiling fan, leaving the room smelling musty There needs to be a walk way installed to first floor rooms so you don’t bring in all the grass clippings each time you walk up to the beach. I had to clean every night due to all the grass on the bottom of our flip flops from beach.

I have been staying at Emerald Hill for the last 14 plus years. Absolutely love it. The ocean was full of June grass which was not fun. Wish the rent for a week did not go up another 1000 for a week. 😭

The floor was not cleaned to our expectations; however, we addressed the issue ourselves and did not contact the management company. The living room rug definitely could use a deep clean. The complex was quiet; no excess noise or foot traffic. Location was convenient to restaurants and grocery store. The reservation and check-in/out process was easy. Would recommend the condo to anyone considering a stay.

The ground level gulf front location was perfect and we had great weather for November. The only negative was that the unit was hard to find when we arrived after dark since the unit is not visible from the parking lot and there is very little outdoor lighting.

Perfect place for a small family!

We absolutely loved this place! The condo itself is very nice and the perfect size for our family of 4. Our children are little so we wanted something right on the beach so we could come and go as we pleased. The location of this condo is perfect, with Publix right down the road and shops right across the street. It was also very quiet and not too busy, which is what we were hoping for. I would definitely recommend this rental for small families and/or couples with small children. We already can’t wait to come back and are planning to make this an annual trip!

We would be sitting on the porch and the system came on and we’d Have to go inside and close the doors or leave because it smelled that bad! Also whatever cleaning product was used on the floors is SO slippery. We almost slipped and fell several times the first two days.
