Offering great beach vacation accommodations, this updated, first-floor, single-level condo features two bedrooms (including a master suite), two bathrooms, a living and dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. Nice quick stay!

Nice and quiet community! Condo was modern and had really nice decor and artwork. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, which was a quick drive down the road. Nice first stay at Bethany Beach!

Nice place for a small group

This unit is in a great location with multiple pools and the fitness center within walking distance. It’s also right next to a tram stop. Decent amenities and the space is perfect for us (3 ppl).

Relaxing and Clean

This place was just perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway for my husband and me for our anniversary. The place was very clean and had everything you would need including paper products and cleaning supplies. Although we did not use it because of the season, there was a pool nearby and also a tram stop so it’s in a perfect location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Decent condo

Inconvenient for having teenagers there. And paying for parking just about everywhere you go in the colony was unacceptable. Condo could use a deep clean - fans, couches and extra blankets were just thrown on the floor in the master closet.

Reviews should be honest

Nicely decorated for the pets you inherit during your stay. ANTS ANTS AND MORE ANTS!! Dead ants in Both tubs on arrival. The kitchen they come from everywhere. Buy traps and ant spray A MUST!! Cleaning staff did not do their job! No new toilet paper rolls , one backup roll for 2 bathrooms. Old dirty socks left under master bedroom bed. Obviously from a prior guest. Wifi is horrible! TV will glitch and go out constantly. We did NOT sit on the couches ....The stains are scary! Who knows and they are Big STAINS. This could be a really nice place!

Never Again

We staed in a nice unit in SeaColony West - it just looked nice. Management sent us incorrect directions to their office. It was actually at the back of a retail store. We got our tags and lock number, but no welcome packet, their was no guest book with suggestions. The Comcast TV gave us a Wifi number, but no Password. It should have been written down by the owners and available to guests. We are seniors, and the street signs are not reflective not illuminated, so I was lost for an hour after turning around to go back to my unit. NEVER AGAIN. I know there are some good units in Sea Colony West

Only issue was Cable and Internet

We have been staying at Sea Colony for the last 15 years. This is the first year that we stayed at this property. The unit was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the floorplan was very open. The unit had an air cleaner which kept away any musty smell. My only complaint was the wi-fi and cable tv. We own a small business and need internet to stay connected. I had a problem getting the wi-fi set up and contacted the office. Apparently when you text, you don't get the local office. I followed all instructions to reset the Wi-Fi to no avail. After hours of waiting, I was finally able to connect to the Wi-Fi so I cancelled the service call. Unfortunately, the entire week was bad internet connection, I ended up using my cell phone data to hot spot internet. The next issue was the cable would continuously go out. So it is safe to say the entire stay was without Cable or Streaming movies. Aside from those issues I would definitely stay again.

We Love Sea Colony but Would Not Stay Here Again

Overall we loved the Sea Colony amenities and convenience of the tram to the beach as well as being able to walk to the aquatics center and fitness center. It was clear the unit had been recently updated bc the flooring and appliances were like new. The furnishings were comfortable and also newer compared to other rentals we’ve had. Unfortunately, not as much attention was paid to the exterior of the home. Upon arriving after dark, we could not find our way into the home bc the exterior lights were not working. It’s a good thing we had flashlights on our phones. The screened-in porch would have been a lovely place to sit and read or enjoy a meal but it was so buggy and covered in pine needles and cobwebs it was not pleasant to be out there. A quick sweep with a leaf blower might have helped. And speaking of bugs, we dealt with an ant problem the entire time we were there. I hope before the next tenant arrives, the pest control company does a thorough spraying of the exterior. The handyman who came to fix an issue with the door lock gave me a few ant traps to put down which at least kept them out of the kitchen and bathrooms, where I’d been dealing with them prior to that. All in all, I would say I love Bethany and Sea Colony, just not this particular home.

Lovely Long Weekend

First trip to Bethany Beach, DE. The property is well cared for and well appointed. Sea Colony is a great location and even though the tram is not running off-season it was a quick drive for beach access at the Sea Colony beach. The pools and fitness center are great. We will return to Bethany and Sea Colony!

Great stay

First time visitor at Bethany Beach, and we had a great time in this unit. Plenty of plates, cups, and silverware for our family of four, and the living room furniture and TV were very nice. The mattresses were VERY firm - too firm for us. The location is good and parking was very easy.

Very clean and well equipped condo.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. We had everything we needed. There was a tram stop steps away. Sometimes we had to wait a while for the tram and the trip took longer than expected to get home from the beach, but it was very convenient. You can track the trams on the smart phone which really helped.There were only a couple of minor issues: not enough plastic cooking utensils so all of the non stick pans are scratched from using metal utensils, this community does not allow hanging beach towels outside and there was not convenient place to hang them (We either laid them out in the screen porch or threw them in the dryer), and the cable was spotty (we understand the community will be changing providers soon since the service isn't good). Overall, a wonderful stay and we definitely would stay again without hesitation.
