Aloha! Welcome to our freshly updated oceanfront condo located on the "Garden Island" Kauai.
- The condo offers stunning views of the culturally significant Wailua Bay and the lush mountain range beyond. My grandparents’ home, the condo was sold, with regret, in 2016, but joyfully reacquired by us in 2021! This 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo is truly steps from the beach, as well as a short walk to fine dining and shopping. Completely remodeled and furnished in 2021, this condo has all the amenities including custom cabinets, wide plank oak flooring, designer-picked furniture, and art. This condo provides you with everything you need to relax and enjoy your island stay! *This condo does Not back to the parking lot.
- The complex, appropriately named Lae Nani, meaning "beautiful face", boasts abundant tropical foliage and is nestled on the coast of Kauai's Wailua Bay. Wailua Bay is one of the most sacred places on the island and the ancestral home of the Hawaiian Royals. The stone remains of a sacred temple, known as a "heiau”, sit on the edge of this property, along the coast, and is still visited and used by local Hawaiians today.
- Lae Nani has a private gated parking lot, a tennis court, a heated saltwater pool, gas grills, a beach, Keiki (children's) pool, fish, turtles, good snorkeling, and the occasional "endangered" native monk seal.
- Lae Nani is located on the east shore in the town of Kapa’a. Kapa'a is centrally located on the island putting everything within easy driving distance, including the airport which is only 10-minutes away. In short, everything you need for a perfect getaway to paradise!

This condo does Not have A/C - We rely on the Tradewind and ceiling fans to provide cool breezes throughout the apartment. The jalousie windows in the bedrooms as well as in the ocean-facing living room can be opened to allow for the flow of air. Kauai is in the tropics, and it does get warm in the summer, but we have never felt A/C was necessary and would detract from the Hawaiian experience as well as the island's sweet scent of plumeria.

You can’t beat this extremely well-stocked condo for the view, layout, and proximity (easy walks to the beach, pool, and numerous restaurants and shopping options). Absolutely the best place we’ve stayed on the islands. Also, a nice middle spot on the island (north to Princeville, Hanalei, Hā’ena, south to Lihue, Waimea, Poipu). The owner is super friendly, accommodating, and responsive. Mahalo!’

Amazing experience overall. The condo is excellent. Location is perfect. Excellent communication with Kara. The place has everything you need including chairs, snorkeling gear, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards and plenty of kitchen utensils. The pool at the complex is great. The beach is beautiful. We loved this condo for our little place to call home while we were in HI. We traveled with another couple so the two king beds and separate baths made this perfect to share! The view from the lanai were spectacular! The condo was stocked well with everything we needed to cook and also enjoy the beach! I wish I could stay here forever! Mahalo

The unit was very clean with a beautiful view and very nice amenities. Our only minor complaint was the living room furniture was not real comfortable for relaxing/watching television, but we didn't need to do much of that in beautiful Hawai'i.

We had a wonderful stay on the island of Kauai at Kara's property. The property is in a prime location making it easy to get to all points on the island. The condo was clean and stocked with everything and more than you needed. We loved having all the beach gear! The oceanfront location was amazing. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai in the morning and evening listening to the ocean waves. Kara, the host, was very responsive and accommodating of our needs. We hope to vacation there again.

Amazing vacation

A bit late leaving this review, but we had an incredible time and enjoyed our Kauai visit while staying at this property. Amazing views, very clean and prime location! Our young boys loved the pool area and the beach.

The condo was everything we hoped for and more! The decor, the view, the property were all impeccable. We enjoyed every morning and evening out on the lanai taking in the beautiful view of the coast. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. The property was gorgeous with manicured lawns and tropical plants everywhere. Our host provided detailed information on places to eat and things to do. The condo was extremely well equipped; the host thought of everything! She was very responsive if we had any questions. It was a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend!

Perfect stay!

Beautiful condo with a wonderful view! Condo was even better than the pictures and hotel quality, which was perfect for our stay. Nice beach, very convenient and short walk to restaurants and shops. Loved the restaurant on the beach next door where we chose to have cooked breakfast most days and drinks in the evening. Great location for driving around the island as well!

Great place to stay on Kauai

Lovely condo, beautiful grounds

Our stay at Lae Nani was everything we hoped it would be. The condo is extremely clean and the decor is beachy and charming. The view from the lanai is gorgeous. The beds and bedding are very comfy and there’s a fun restaurant, Lava Lava, right next door. Would love to stay here again.

Best of Kauai

The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped for a short or long stay. The owner was extremely responsive. Pickleball court on property was an added bonus. Would and will stay here again. Mahalo!
