Such a relaxing spot on the beach without the big crowd, everything you need around you without feeling crowded out in a gated community. The unit was more than stated in the add - beyond expectations, very clean, well kept, updated with comfortable beds, roomy layout, awesome balcony furniture layout, from the books on the shelf to the gorgeous beach ocean front view with convenient access with the option to rent umbrellas and chairs. I have never seen ice available on the beach for purchase for your unit also. It was beautiful & relaxing, everything in the unit worked. Loved the cook out area with tables and chairs, outdoor game options with pool area. We will book here again, awesome management team with very convenient location.

Excellent!

My family and I had an excellent stay!!! The views are great from the very spacious balcony. Only issue we ran into was that only one elevator was working day of arrival but was fixed within a few days. Plenty of space for our family of 5 (kids ages of 10, 11, 13). All kitchen and laundry appliances were in working order. Definitely staying at Breakers East again!

Daughter's birthday

My husband and I were invited to go to Destin with our daughter and her husband for her 30th birhtday on April 21. I made the arrangements. We really enjoyed ourselves. The condo was nice only had 2 problems with toliets. The master one ran all the time and the seat to the other bathroom toilet was detached. I called and they were fixed the next day. Other than that we enjoyed the condo and the great view.

Not worth the money

We have stayed at breakers east a few times in the past. This particular unit met the requirements of beachfront/ocean view only. The condo it was was ok. The cleanliness of it was sub par. There is a pee odor in the condo particularly the bathrooms. Tried cleaning it myself but seems like the floors just need a good cleaning with bleach inorder to remove it. The secondary bedroom has an odor or mildew. The master bed needs to be replaced badly. It was the most uncomfortable bed we ever slept in. The floor rugs were absolutely disgusting! From the kitchens rug to the runner near the front door to the master bedrooms rug. Nasty! The cookware available is sub par. We were there during Thanksgiving and needed to cook. There isnt enough provided. No casserole dishes, hardly any bowls, very few pans. Ended up having to buy a few things. With all the money that Im sure that the owners make. Seems like they would invest in a few items for the kitchen and invest in cleaning the throw rugs regularly. The furniture was dusty and obviously had been dusted in awhile. We will not be staying in this unit(#503) again.

It was fine

The condo was clean and spacious and provided everything we needed. Communication was clear and pleasant. The decor in the unit was dated, but everything was functional. Two negatives - (1) a 9am check-out time is a bit too aggressive and would lead me not to rent from this group again, and (2) we could not enjoy the great balcony because a guest or owner in a unit around us was outside smoking the entire weekend.

Breakers East 503 was exactly as described! Great place—minor a/c issue that was handled promptly. We’ll be back!

Destin on the Beach

We had a great time and the Condo was wonderful, just as listed. Plenty of room. Nice and clean. The washer/dryer allowed us to come home with NO LAUNDRY to do! We were close to everything. Beautiful to set out on the balcony and enjoy the sound of the waves and watch the ships and para-sailors. The grounds were well kept and lovely. Pool was just like something from a magazine. Time went too fast.

Overall great vacation

The unit is perfect for a family or couple looking to be right on the beach. Great for cooking/doing laundry. The panoramic view from the balcony is incredible. The beach and pool were easily accessible. The property felt safe. A lot of attractions/shopping nearby. The only issue was that the door code didn't work when we arrived. After calling customer service several times, they were finally able to get a manager there. Quite a delay because it was a Sunday. Ultimately, the dead bolt had to be replaced. Long story short, the vacation start got delayed by a couple hours, because we couldn't get into the condo. Also, my daughter found a pretzel in between the sofa cushion (that wasn't ours)! These were the only issues. Overall, it was an amazing vacation and I would recommend this condo.
