Welcome to Heavy Water, the guest house of 'Moon Tower'. This charming seaside cottage in Seaside, Florida, is ideally located just a 4-minute walk from the beach, three houses away from the West End pool, and a mere 4-minute stroll to downtown Seaside's Central Square, home to over 35 shops and restaurants. Park your car and explore all Seaside offers on foot or by bike.
This guest cottage features its own private charcoal grill and four distinct outdoor areas: a screened-in front porch at the entrance, a rear open-air porch off the kitchen overlooking a sandy foot path, an open-air deck at the back overlooking nature with seating for two and a screened-in porch off the primary bedroom upstairs with a bench swing. These multiple outdoor options provide ample space for relaxation. The screened front porch with two rockers is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee. Inside, the first floor boasts an open living area, a full bathroom, a mounted flat-screen TV, one dining bistro area that seats two to four, and a queen sleeper sofa for additional guests. This living room is very open with a large mounted flat screen TV and there is ample room for the queen sleeper to accommodate two more with a full bath downstairs.
The efficiency kitchen includes a two-burner electric stovetop, a mini under-counter fridge (no freezer), a mini dishwasher, a small sink, a full-size microwave, a coffee pot, a toaster, and all necessary kitchen essentials for home-cooked meals (note: there is no oven). The rear deck, accessible from the kitchen, offers outdoor seating for two and overlooks a peaceful sandy footpath. The full bathroom on this level includes a single vanity and shower.
Upstairs, you’ll find a spacious queen bedroom with a private, furnished balcony offering beautiful views of the natural surroundings, and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Additionally, the cottage includes an outdoor grill, which is perfect for a night of burgers and hot dogs, and is within walking distance to the West End pool, numerous seaside amenities, Ruskin Park, and shops, private beach access, and much more. For a perfect beach getaway, choose 'Heavy Water'. If you need more space, consider its main home, 'Moon Tower'.
