My family and I stayed for the weekend and we had a great stay. The location of the house was perfect. Would definitely stay there again!

Cute comfortable house

The house was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. Its close to everything we wanted to see. The beds were super comfortable! The host was great at communication. Would love to stay here again.

Holly and her party were great. They left my property in great condition and cleaned up well before exiting. We had good communication with quick responses. Would definitely recommend.

We had the best time in this house. It is done in such a cool way, and is veryyyyy clean. The host and cleaning lady are very sweet. The LED lights on the wall made it such a vibe. Very fun stay!

Nice backyard

The backyard of the house was great for the quick stay we had. It had plenty for the kids to do. The house was a little dated compared to the photos but overall was nice and spacious.

Great Stay

My family had a great experience here. We were in town for just one night for a wedding. The house was spacious making it easy to accommodate everyone getting ready quickly. The listing is accurate, & host was quick to respond when I messaged. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to this area.

Anna stay was a great one overall. We had good communication with quick responses from one another. The house was left the way it was and they put the tales in the washer and trash outside without me asking. Would definitely recommend them to anybody. Would love to have them stay with us again.

Complete disappointment

We did not have a stay. It was double booked, told morning of check in after family flew in from Massachusetts and 2 hours into our 4 hour drive to property. Apparently the other family checked in first so before 10 am when I was messaged that it was accidentally booked, though check in wasn’t till 4, so not sure how they checked in. And then was texted at 5 if I had a dog in the house……wrong party sir! Picture is of my car that drove all the way for no overnight accommodations!

Home owner cancelled 3-1/2 hours before time

Messaged the host day before because we had not received our information for getting in. 3-1/2 hours before we are to arrive I finally get a message saying he as had issues with calendar and VRBO band him. So I contact VRBO they said no it was still active. He finally told them he double booked. Had to find a place last minute and in different town!!!

though the owner was very nice to work with and even let us in an hour early i feel the need to share these things in hopes that they will change them ßfor the next renter of the house. house was big and accommodated us all but the kitchen dishes there was no full set of anything. everything was miss matched. then when we got ready to leave and pulled the sheets we found horrendous looking gross mattresses. made my wife want to puke. i’m including pictures because it was that bad. the furniture in the room look worse then stuff people put out at curbs to get rid of. the bones of the house are great the improvement with everything else is a must though. neighborhood is old but quite and had no problems and felt safe. I hope they make these changes but unfortunately we will not rent here again.

Awful!

Booked this place for an adults getaway with friends. A few days before our trip the owner texted me directly and wanted us to cancel our booking through Vrbo and send him the money through Venmo. He said something about how his account on the app was locked. We refused to send the money through Venmo for fear of being scammed. I asked multiple times if our booking was still secure being that we did not want to Venmo money outside of the app the host told me it was secure. 10 MINUTES PRIOR to the time we were supposed to check in I messaged for the code and was told my booking was CANCELLED!!! After frantically looking for a new place to stay about 2 hours later the host messaged me asking if we found a place to stay or if we wanted our original booking back. This was so unprofessional and frankly just SKETCHY! I’ve used apps like this multiple times and never had a host do this.

Property Contains Plusses and Minuses - Overall Good but Needs a Few Improvements

Overall it was a good stay but there were a few points that could be improved. Cleaning - We found we needed to sweep the place when we arrived. There was a lidded cup containing a previous occupant's juice in the cupboard with the other cups. There was no refill of hand soap and we ran out while we were there. Kitchen utensil quantities were inadequate. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy at first but we felt safe quickly after we saw all the families around, and the number of people walking, and the number of people playing in the nearby park. We hadn't read the listing closely enough - the property has a stovetop but no oven. It's unusual to find a property with three bathrooms - having three was very nice. The high ceilings make the property appealing. Both sinks drains in the master bathroom drain very slowly and so fill quickly with any extended usage. There was one bunk bed that had no comforter. The TV was small. The A/C worked great.

I did not have a stay. This host should not be allowed to remain on vrbo. I placed and paid for my reservation 5 months in advance, the host called me 2 months later and asked if I could cancel my vrbo reservation and pay him directly instead, stating that vrbo charges him too many fees. I declined saying I wasn't comfortable with that but asked to confirm that I still had a reservation, that he wasn't cancelling my reservation. He confirmed that no he wasn't cancelling and yes I still had a reservation. I didn't hear from him again. I messaged him through the vrbo site the day before my reservation to confirm the check in procedures but did not hear back from him. The evening of my reservation (check in was at 4pm, I showed up a little before 8pm) I showed up to the house and there were other cars in the driveway, and the lockbox that was supposed to contain a key to enter the house was empty. There were clearly other people at the house. I called the host- he claimed that he cancelled his vrbo account 2 months prior and that he didn't have any reservations through them and thus I no longer had a reservation. My vrbo account showed that my reservation was still active and neither the host nor vrbo had contacted me to let me know. He claimed that it was vrbo's job to contact me and cancel my reservation. The vrbo agent claimed he never told them the reservation was cancelled thus they couldn't have known to notify me. I was left with nowhere to stay. DO NOT BOOK.

Check in time was 4:00. We showed up at 5:30. The key lock box had no key in it. Upon contacting the host. He said the house was not ready and he thought our check in day was the next day but it was clear on VRBO that our check in date was correct. He said we could have the house but he couldn’t provide a key and the house was locked. He was very rude and the whole thing was a disaster.
