A Fun Girls’ Trip

We had a great time. We rented 2 condos and both were clean with great views. Our only complaint was that we were only given 4 washcloths for our 3 nights. We had to wash in the laundry room on the 4th floor because we weren’t allowed to trade in over the weekend. This was inconvenient. If I would have known ahead of time I would have brought my own washcloths.

The location was fantastic and the beach access and chair service was perfect for the days of nice weather that we had. our last 2 days there the winds picked up and we could not go into the gulf but the pool, tennis and shuffleboard kept our kids busy. Location is central to everything, beach is pristine and staff was friendly and communicative.

The condo was clean and roomy. The condo is close to all the major attractions, but off the busy main road. The view was beautiful and the beach wasn’t very crowded—we never had to fight for a spot in May. The front desk team was very accommodating and helpful. Our unit had an issue with the dishwasher and a maintenance person came in less than 30 minutes to fix it. If we come back to Destin, we will very likely stay here again!

The best water and easiest beach access

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was probably my 25th visit to Holiday Surf. I've been coming since around 1985. Late May and early June make for some great weather and water. If you want the quickest access to the beach, stay in a 1st floor unit which all have a walkout patio. The lowest unit numbers and highest unit numbers are closest to the end/beach. The middle unit numbers are closest to pool. Get out to the boardwalk around 6:40am to reserve your beach chair/umbrella spot.

#218 - Family of 5 Everyone was happy!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo 218 with 3 beds in the guest room for our teen kiddos and a spacious primary was perfect! The mattress in the main bedroom was incredible! We all slept great.Do note they provide a starter kit (dish soap and dishwasher powder, a couple coffee filters, a few trash bags and 2 rolls of paper towels and I think 2 rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom.) Recommend you bring extra of everything in the starter kit and also salt and pepper and any other basic seasonings, extra trash bags or use grocery bags. The coffee maker does drip and Kcups so bring filters or Kcups. There are kitchen washcloths for dishes or you could pick up a sponge or brush if you prefer.Target was maybe a mile away and Walmart was about 3? Traffic gets heavy so plan extra time for your outtings.As for the rest of the condo, the couch is huge and very comfy and the sliding door to the balcony off the living room opens and closes easily even though it is very heavy and blocks out almost all noise. We never heard the pool traffic even though we were so close.The walk to the beach was maybe 2 minutes around the edge of the building and straight off the boardwalk. Beach setup while we were there seemed to get started at 7 am the first few days then a storm was moving in and that appeared to push beach service out an hour or so. Waters were rough out last couple days there (double red) and definitely changed the Holiday Surf beach which delayed chairs and umbrellas but made perfect sense given the circumstances. Bryson was a great beach attendant!There are a ton of great restaurants but our favorite was Acme Oyster House in Miramar Beach about 25 mins away.We did rent a pontoon and spent the day at crab island. Tons of little food and snack and drink boats cruise around throughout the day. We enjoyed snorkeling there and floating around in the beautiful sunshine and crystal clear water.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holiday Surf and would gladly book here again!

Great beach front condo

Great stay for our family !! Check in easy. Very Clean and mostly updated condo. Nice decor. Kitchen has all you need (except a kettle). Everything as described in listing. Location is nice on the 2nd floor with ocean view. Mattress was excellent and sheets were good. All furniture was comfy. Bigger tv is needed in master bedroom and a nightstand on one side of the bed. AC unit worked well during stay and everything else worked as it should. The beach itself in front is wonderful. Only complaint about this beach is the steepness from sand to water which makes it little bit more difficult to have an easy stroll on this beach . But doable. Every store type and food choices near by. A return here one day would be nice.

Clean, cozy, and perfect location!

We had such a wonderful stay! The condo was perfectly appointed and had everything we needed (except maybe a couple of extra pillowcases). The location was perfect - close to everything we wanted to do but tucked away on Holiday Isle just off of the main drag. Five minute drive to the grocery store and Walgreens for anything we needed during our stay. The property was lively and fun during the day and perfectly peaceful at night. Umbrella and chair service was great! I used to stay at the Holiday Surf and Raquer Club when I was a kid and it did not disappoint. Absolutely felt like home away from home. 😊 I would absolutely book again!

Great location and access to the private beach!!!

Although the cleanliness of the bathrooms were not all that great, it was still a good time! The condo is beautiful and the location of the condos is on the beach and even on the second floor you have a beautiful view! I definitely recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great unit with great decor! You can see the ocean from this second floor room, but not the whole beach. Easy to watch the tennis courts and pool from your balcony. Very comfortably sleeps six. The master bath is tiny, don’t plan to get ready at the same time. Unit was very clean, just felt the floor could have been cleaner. These condos have a desk (similar to hotel) where you check in. This was not clearly communicated as I was waiting for an email with check in details. Overall, we had a great week, it was cold but we played lots of tennis and pickle ball!
