Welcome to the Black Hills of South Dakota!

Established in 2016, (formerly PAMS Getaways) Frenchy's Hideaways is a locally owned campground that provides guests the perfect environment to explore, rest & relax. We strive to provide great rates to allow you to get the most out of your Black Hills experience!

Located 2 miles south of Custer along US Hwy 385, we are at the heart of the southern Black Hills greatest attractions. Wind Cave National Park (18 miles) to the south, Custer State Park (9 miles) to the east, Jewel Cave National Monument (15 miles) to the west, along with Mt. Rushmore National Monument (23 miles) and Crazy Horse Memorial (9 miles) to our north!

Very nice cabin with everything you need. Great location for exploring the Black Hills. Only thing to be aware of is if you are looking for a place to hang out and enjoy the scenery, this is probably not for you, open field next to the airport.

This cabin was extremely clean. Was a great location just a couple miles from downtown and was away from everything. Very quiet. Would highly recommend.

Cabin is only minutes from town. It is in location with several other cabins/buildings close by, but was no issue for us. Owners live in the same area and were friendly.

The cabin was perfect for a family of 4 and two fur babies. The kitchen was spacious and great for cooking. It was very clean and pretty view of the mountains. There was a nice place to walk right by the property if you were willing to walk less than 1/10th of a mile on the highway to get to it. I walked 3 miles every morning by the property with the dogs. We were very close to Custer State Park where we spent most of our time. You could hang out on the property if you like and grill although we didn't. We will likely stay at this property again. The only suggestion I have is to add some pots to the cabins. There were only two frying pans and we do a lot of cooking.

Paul grew up in the beautiful Black Hills and has lived here his whole life, and once Tiffany saw the light and moved west, she fell in love with the area (and Paul) as well! Working together to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for your family is what they strive for with each guest experience. This couple is ready to make your vacation experience comfortable, affordable, and one for the memory books!

Frenchy's Hideaways (formerly PAMS Getaways) is perfectly situated on US Hwy 385 between Wind Cave National Park to the South (approx. 18 miles), Custer State Park to the East (approx. 9 miles), Jewel Cave National Monument to the West (approx. 15 miles) and of course the infamous Mount Rushmore National Monument (approx. 23 miles) and Crazy Horse Memorial (approx. 9 miles) both to the North.

Since we are located just minutes from Custer City, it is perfect for those not wanting to be in city limits. Access to the historical George S Mickelson trail (pass required) and the Custer County Airport is just around the corner.
