Our single level 1,000 square foot 2 bedroom / 2.5 bathroom condo is one of very few properties with a deck overlooking historic Main Avenue. The modern and exceptionally appointed residence is located at 7th and Main Street and is 24 miles (25 minutes) from Purgatory ski area.

Durango is known for it's historic downtown with a diversity of shopping and dining opportunities that would rival many large cities. This condo is within immediate walking distance to everything the historic downtown has to offer. Go for a run or a bike ride on Durango’s river trail just a block and a half away. Visit one of the many exceptional coffee shops or discover why Durango is known as the city of Brewerly Love by visiting one of our six local brew pubs. This is Durango’s finest location.

Please note while the condo is single level, there are 10 stairs to get into the condo. There is one assigned parking space in the alley directly behind the condo.

Great Times in Durango

Great find right in downtown! Walking distance to everything…good food, shopping, and the historic train! We had young and old traveling together and everyone was happy and comfortable! Condo was clean and spacious, cozy and comfortable!Would definitely stay again!

Location, Location, Location. Could be the best location in downtown Durango for access to all that downtown Durango has to offer. This is an amazing property. If you're traveling with 2 couples or 2 people that want separate rooms, this is perfect as the rooms each have their own bathroom and are very similar in size. Great location, great balcony, very comfortable. Great staff. You get the idea.

Very nice condo

Only complaint was some odd loud noises from above our bedroom every day. Like chairs scraping across the floor.

Yes, this place is REALLY something to see. Clearly a pro designer/architect designed the entire layout, and executed it. It is REALLY sharp. It was PRISTINELY clean, plenty of place to sit comfortably, including on the patio. Each bedroom has its own outer door, opening onto its own little side balcony, though just looking over another roof. The location IS great, pretty much the entirety of historic downtown Durango is an easy walk: shops, restaurants, the railroad depot, every a decent sized grocery store. The view from the balcony is also fabulous, mountains and lots of sky.THINGS I DIDN'T KNOW:(1) The one free parking space is great, as all parking downtown is on meters, around 40min/1. BUT, it was a bear to park into, as there was a large dumpster right next to the spot, as well as folks parked across the not-very-wide alley. Parking the rental Jeep was no big, parking a full-size pickup would have been way more interesting!(2) There should really be an instruction sheet about how to lock the non-front doors (patio, and both BR outer doors). It took us forever to guess, and I have never seen any operate this way. A little laminated cheat sheet on the subject would have been nice (poke, poke).(3) No blackout shades, including in the BRs. Remember those side doors and patios in each? Full glass doors, and pretty sheer curtains. You will know when the sun comes up! Bring a mask if you need to.(4) The patio doors will blow open if not locked, did that several times.

It sounds like your group was able to enjoy Durango area. We appreciate you bringing to our attention the parking spot and it's challenges when trying to park a full size pickup there. Although there is paid parking nearby, that is certainly something to note that parking will be tight with a full size vehicle. We regret that the patio door doors were confusion to operate; and subsequently your door blew open a few times.. Thanks for the warning on the sheer curtains, it is worth mentioning that they are not black out curtains - an eye mask is a great idea. Great property with a fabulous location

We visit Durango every year and I had no idea that there were rental properties right on historical Main St. This property was beautiful and even in the busiest of times, quiet once the patio doors were shut. Great walking location for everything in the historical area of Durango!
