Great Spaces & Accommodations

This beach house is clean and beautiful .. but the thing we appreciated the most were the great spaces that helped us gather in meaningful ways. The family room was bright .. warm and comfortable with room for many. The kitchen was inviting and everyone loved 'hanging out' there. The patio table was a great place to gather for long meals .. and the fire pit was the space of choice and a catalyst to so many great conversations .. day and night. We'll be back for sure!

Incredible Home

The photos do not do the home justice. The home has obviously been renovated with beautiful flooring, fixtures, top of the line kitchen appliances, bathrooms, furniture, etc… too many to name. The location is awesome and in close proximity to the beach, as well as a significant number of restaurants and stores. Very tastefully done and worth the price. The property owner is responsive and gracious l. This is a gem!

Perfect stay

We just returned from our family trip on Balboa Peninsula with our 3 kids, ages 4, 7 and 11. We loved every minute of this vacation and didn’t want to leave. The house was clean and provided everything we needed for the week. It was in a great location, close to the fun zone and close to the bay, with calm water for small children. It was also super quiet, away from main street. Deb was a pleasure to work with before and during the trip. Newport weather in August was 75 and sunny each and every day. We all enjoyed the fire pit and could walk to the local coffee shop in the morning for bagels and lattes. I personally was grateful for multiple blankets in the house- always something I look for. We loved it! Thanks for everything!

Wonderful House and Great Location

Had a fabulous stay here for a long weekend. The location is perfect. Walk to the beach or the harbor. The house is absolutely beautiful and comes well supplied for cooking meals. Can’t say enough good things about this property. Property manager is responsive and helpful if anything is needed. Thank you again for having us!

Great Beach House

If you are looking for a great house near the beach for your getaway, look no further. The house is modern, well appointed, clean, and a stone's throw from the beach. Deb the owner was great in her communication, and everything was as advertised. Sitting on the roof deck enjoying the ocean breeze was an added bonus. My wife and daughters (who are super critical of homes we rent), thought everything was perfect, and have already asked me to book our return visit. I can't think of a higher accolade. Thank you, Deborah, for a great little staycation!

Fabulous vacation home

We had an amazing week in this beautiful home! The location is absolutely perfect! The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Great for families looking for close proximity to beach and bay without the noise! The home is fully equipped, beautiful furnishings, along with convenient parking, bikes and beach items! Great house near the beach

Stayed for 2 weeks in July. This is a great house! Clean, comfortable, close to the beach and the bay, and in a nice neighborhood. Deb the owner is very responsive and friendly. There are 2 dedicated parking spaces, 2 bikes in the garage and lots of beach gear. Will stay again!

Amazing location

We had a great experience at this beautiful property. The location is perfect; you can walk everywhere! The house had all the amenities you need and Deb was readily available to answer any questions we had. Would definitely come back again.

Perfect!

This rental was just as we hoped and planned for!! We had very high expectations and were not disappointed. We would live there permanently if we could because of the beauty and functionality of the home itself, as well as the location to beach and bay access. Morning walks at sunrise were superb. Bike rides for coffee on Lido Island were a dream. And paddle boarding was as easy as could be. Thank you DK for being a lovely hostess and sharing such a special place with our family. We will never forget our Christmas vacation on the Newport Penninsula.

Balboa

Our stay was perfect! This home is beautiful and in an ideal location. The home is a two minute walk from the bay which is a great spot if you are looking for a kid friendly place to let them play in sand and water minus the waves. Every day we used the SUP boards provided by the home and cruised around. The beach is about a five minute walk at the most and our 13 year old spent most of his time there body surfing with my husband and the local kids. There are lifeguards on duty so I felt pretty good about allowing him to go out. One of the days we rented a duffy boat for a few hours over at the Fun Zone and were able to see a lot of the area from the water, I highly recommend this is if you're looking for an easy outing. We also ate at Nobu one evening, it was a five minute uber and the staff were great in regards to covid policies. The home itself is set up very well. The kitchen was stocked with cooking necessities from pots/pans to seasoning etc. There is also a bbq that we used nightly and the fire pit as well for smore's! The master bedroom is gorgeous with a nice view and a huge bathroom attached. The two guest rooms were comfortable, one had a trundle bed which was nice for our 13 year old to use. The home also has a washer and dryer which was a godsend. The garage is stocked with all the beach items you could need, toys, chairs, umbrellas, water toys, even a wagon to load the items up and transport to the bay. There are also two bikes which we used each evening to cruise around. The owner is very responsive and made sure we had what we needed. Overall fantastic vacation and not one of us wanted to leave, we are already planning our next trip down!

Perfect Location for our Getaway!

What a beautiful home in a perfect location on the Balboa Peninsula. Nothing lacking; beautifully appointed. Walking distance to everything we needed. Slept 5 adults and 2 children very comfortably. Owner was fabulous to work with and very responsive. We would love to visit again!

House, amenities, proximity to beach, bay, island were phenomenal. We will definitely be back!

I’m originally from Orange County and grew up along the SoCal coast. This home is centrally located, walking distance to both beach and Bay as well as ferry that will take you across to Balboa Island. Outdoor patio was great for socially distanced small “gatherings”. No need to leave the area. Bikes/boogie boards/paddle boards/beach chairs & towels all provided. Great getaway for me and my 4 girls. We will be back!
