Built in 1879 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, Wilder House is a renovated Victorian just a 5-minute walk from Whiskey Row and Courthouse Plaza. The home sleeps 8 across three bedrooms—one king with two twins, plus two queen rooms—and has two full bathrooms.

Gather in the period-furnished parlor and dining spaces, cook in the full kitchen, or relax on the porch, balcony, and garden. Modern comforts include 500+ Mbps whole-house Wi-Fi, smart TVs with Sling TV, a dedicated workspace, onsite parking, and Tesla/NACS, NEMA 14-50, and 110V EV charging. A water softener and reverse-osmosis drinking-water system provide fresh water throughout your stay.

Walk to downtown restaurants, shops, nightlife, and Courthouse Plaza, with nearby hiking and a year-round creek just steps from the house.

We had a wonderful stay at The Wilder House in Prescott! There were eight of us, and the home was a great fit for our girls’ trip. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to Whiskey Row, making it easy to enjoy all that downtown Prescott has to offer without needing to drive.Erik was an attentive and responsive host, quickly answering any questions we had during our stay. We appreciated his communication and hospitality. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend The Wilder House to anyone looking for a comfortable, conveniently located place to stay in Prescott.

The Wilder House was the perfect place for my friends and I to get away for the weekend. The location is ideal and there was room for 6 comfortably. Erik was super responsive.

This is a very old home so floors and doors are very creaky , which is absolutely to be expected . The location is ideal for those wanting to spend time on Whisky Row , just walk a couple of blocks and you’re there :). We had a great time . Erik , the host, is very responsive and very accomodating .

Beautiful historic close to downtown

This one checked them all for us, historic, close to downtown, clean. It was a great place to stay while our oldest graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Wilder house. Perfect location to downtown square. Very clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Erik is so easy to work with and quick to respond when we reach out.

Great Location and a Unique House

Location is everything and this place was super close to Whiskey Row and all the shops and restaurants you would want to go to. On top of that the house was very cool and unique. It was almost like stepping back in time but some modern day comforts!! We will definitely stay here again!

Whiskey Row Run

We came to town for the Whiskey Row Run and had an incredible time! The house was a step back into history of Prescott. It’s charming and cozy and the beds were super comfortable. Would definitely come back to stay at the Wilder House.

Girls trip

This house was perfect for our girls trip. The house was everything we were hoping for. We had a great time antiquing and we kayaked on Watson lake. (All though the lake was a bit cold and very windy) would love to stay again soon!

Close to downtown square

We have stayed at the Wilder house many times. It never disappoints. This historical home has everything needed for a comfortable stay, plus walkable to Whiskey Row and the Courthouse. We will be back again!
