This part of the beach is great for walks (head south and see if you can spot any seals sunning themselves across the bay), agate hunting, and searching for the glass floats in the city's Finders Keepers program from October to May every year. Dining, shopping, art galleries, and crabbing are all just a short walk or drive away. Visit one of several glass art shops nearby and even blow your own glass float.
