Enjoyed being able to walk to Kona Town and market. Short drive to Living Stones Church.Good location for daily fitness walk along Ali'i.Cooling off in pool was wonderful.

Clean and decent location but poor communication with host about cockroaches in condo

B21 is a nice and affordable spot to be near the beach and close to downtown Kona. Check-in process was easy. I think the only downfall is that there was an exceptional amount of roaches that the host said was mentioned by the last 2 guests, but then did nothing about it. I wasn't expecting bugs to be removed from our condo, but being ghosted by the host when asking about solutions wasn't amazing. I would recommend the Kona Reef resort however.

Amazing stay!

Excellent communication and hospitality from the property management. They made everything very clear so I didn't have to ask any questions. The property is in a great location and easily walkable to downtown Kona with its abundance of restaurants and shops, and of course right on the water, which is gorgeous. The condo itself was comfortable, well-equiped, and decorated nicely with comfy furniture. Would definitely stay here again! Mahalo🌺

Partial water view Kona

The property is in a perfect location to enjoy the water & surrounding city amenities. It was so easy to check in and to get access to the pool. The pool is nice & is open until 10pm. The hot tub was great and there is plenty of grilling space. If I come back I’d love to stay here just in a different unit. The condo has everything you need it’s just faces homeless people on the beach.

Loved living in Kona for a week 💛

We enjoyed our stay and loved our location in proximity to the beach and shopping nearby. Close to Costco and the airport and yet not far from exploring other areas of the island. The condo bedroom shares a window with the road which was very loud most nights and garbage day was rough at 4am😅. Loud cars were hard to tune out throughout the night. The disposal wasn’t working but management was quick to get it fixed and working 🙌 and cleaning staff was very friendly. Check in was easy and so was check out! Thankful for the AC and the kitchen as well as the pool! Loved staying in Kona and would go back and stay again if we return to the Big Island.

Home away from home

Central location, quite and overall property clean. This was unplanned family emergency, one week turned into three. It was nice to have a home away from home.

Lovely place to stay, right next to Honl's beach

We had a wonderful stay for 6 days/nights at this Kona Reef condo. View from this lanai is good - Though you get to see Alii drive, what's also in view are the park and Honl's beach. We visited the Honl's beach frequently; even saw 2 turtles there! In the apartment itself, the pull-out bed is quite uncomfortable to sleep. Also, none of the plug points on one side of the kitchen work. Otherwise, a great place to stay in Kona!

All good

Everything was great and as advertised. The only hitch was getting into the unit on arrival. I was sent a text which gave me the code to open the key box. The code worked, but there was no key. We worked for 10 minutes on a second box with no result. I called the contact number, and someone else called me back within 3 minutes. He gave me the code for the keypad on the door handle. The number was one we would not forget, and it was convenient not needing to carry a key. If only we had been given correct info to begin with.

Big Island vacation @ Kona-Reef with my son!

Nice corner condo next to the park and beautiful ocean view. What a perfect Lanai to sit, do yoga, stretch your legs, sip on your morning coffee, & evening cocktail with dinner! Your view from Lanai, i like to split into 3 parts: to the left is Ali'i drive, to its right is a beautiful park and to its right is your ocean with blue water! We truly enjoyed our stay! Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans needed to cook your favorite meal! The management team is excellent! Mahalo! Aaryan & Dave

Great location, with road noise

Place was wonderful. Excellent location, very walkable. As listed there is road noise, also an annoying bright yellow security light at night, but certainly nothing that ruined our time there.

Great location and amenities

Morning sun on the deck while way home g the ocean is how everyday began. A close walk into town for coffee, açaí and dinner was great! Evening sunsets from the pool were enjoyed as well.

Best Condo with Ocean Beach view

This is the best condo they gave us coffee &macadamia nuts little treats ! everything was clean, they also had extra toy, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and everything you need ! very clean and very very nice time ! we will come there again!!! Loved it!!

Just What We Needed

We enjoyed the apartment, and our stay was free of any stress. Self check-in was smooth, everything was as described, and we settled right in for a week's stay. The Kona Reef Resort complex is a kinda dated stylistically, but well maintained. We enjoyed the pool area, the available grills, and the small beach right next door. The apartment was nicely provisioned for a vacation rental. The kitchen had everything we needed, minus the groceries, which we obtained easily with a short drive to Safeway or an Instacart delivery. Location is an easy walk to the commercial area and is a manageable day trip to virtually any spot on the island. The lanai has a bit of an ocean view. Between its street-side location and proximity to a public beach, the apartment is subject to some noise. This did not affect our experience, although one in our party is highly sensitive to noise. We slept like babies.

Almost a good location

I have stayed at the Kona Reef condo's before and been very happy, but I would not recomend this unit to others. This unit is right on Alii drive and very noisy with constant traffic. In addition the deck side faces a beach which is favored by homeless people who screem at each other and anybody they see gets alot of the F-word. Also this unit has seen better days needs to be cleaned and updated. This condo developement is great if you have an inside unit that overlooks the pool or ocean.

comfortable lodging in a great location

Clean, well-maintained unit adjacent to a very pretty beach. A bit of road noise in this particular unit as it is adjacent to Ali'i Drive, but, even though we eschewed the A/C and kept the sliding door open, it didn't bother us. I rebooted the WiFi (both cable modem and router), as it seeemed a bit slow, but it subsequently supported my video attendance at a Zoom meeting, so no problem. The short walk to restaurants and then to Kauilua Harbor are also pluses. We were always able to find parking, though not always in the most convenient lot. There are three parking areas, one entirely above ground, one entirely underground, and a third with both above ground and underground parking. Among the vacation accoutrements were a few ice chests/coolers and a couple of cloth bags, which came in handy. I suggest you check out the closets/cupboards before going shopping. Yes, we'd stay there again.

Lovely place for our little family

The pool and hot tub was a hit for us. Right on the ocean but contained and warm for the kiddo. The description didn’t make it clear that the unit was directly on alii dr which is a busy street. But it didn’t end up being to unpleasant. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Property was in a great location and within walking distance of downtown Kona. Right next door to Kona Resort which we wanted as we attended a wedding there and had friends staying there so location could not have been better. There was considerable road noise and early morning there was some noise but got used to it in a night or two. Right next to Honl beach, never did get to use the pool or BBQ but it looked good. Overall I’d stay here again.
