This beautiful condo is right next to a historic park where people spend time both day and night. Ali'i Drive is behind the condo so you can hear the vehicle traffic.

Perfect location!

This location was excellent! Easy walk to town, and we loved the convenience of no keys! We came and went as we pleased and the pool was nice too.

We had an amazing time. Waking up in the morning and enjoying coffee on the balcony was the best part. Amazing view of the ocean. We will be going back to stay again.

AC doesn’t reach the back bedroom and it’s hot. The 1 box fan in the closet is not enough. Just beware if you need AC to sleep. Clean, well stocked and easy owner to reach. FYI the picture in the listing is not from this room. This room faces the street and honls beach, not the pool like the picture shows

Enjoyed being able to walk to Kona Town and market. Short drive to Living Stones Church.Good location for daily fitness walk along Ali'i.Cooling off in pool was wonderful.

Great location and amenities

Morning sun on the deck while way home g the ocean is how everyday began. A close walk into town for coffee, açaí and dinner was great! Evening sunsets from the pool were enjoyed as well.

Home away from home

Central location, quite and overall property clean. This was unplanned family emergency, one week turned into three. It was nice to have a home away from home.

Amazing stay!

Excellent communication and hospitality from the property management. They made everything very clear so I didn't have to ask any questions. The property is in a great location and easily walkable to downtown Kona with its abundance of restaurants and shops, and of course right on the water, which is gorgeous. The condo itself was comfortable, well-equiped, and decorated nicely with comfy furniture. Would definitely stay here again! Mahalo🌺

Partial water view Kona

The property is in a perfect location to enjoy the water & surrounding city amenities. It was so easy to check in and to get access to the pool. The pool is nice & is open until 10pm. The hot tub was great and there is plenty of grilling space. If I come back I’d love to stay here just in a different unit. The condo has everything you need it’s just faces homeless people on the beach.

Best Condo with Ocean Beach view

This is the best condo they gave us coffee &macadamia nuts little treats ! everything was clean, they also had extra toy, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and everything you need ! very clean and very very nice time ! we will come there again!!! Loved it!!

Clean and decent location but poor communication with host about cockroaches in condo

B21 is a nice and affordable spot to be near the beach and close to downtown Kona. Check-in process was easy. I think the only downfall is that there was an exceptional amount of roaches that the host said was mentioned by the last 2 guests, but then did nothing about it. I wasn't expecting bugs to be removed from our condo, but being ghosted by the host when asking about solutions wasn't amazing. I would recommend the Kona Reef resort however.

I like the condo, very

I like the condo, very clean And facing the Ocean and walking distances Downtown. I wish theres an ac in the bedroom. Its hard to fall asleep at night because its hot.

Lovely place to stay, right next to Honl's beach

We had a wonderful stay for 6 days/nights at this Kona Reef condo. View from this lanai is good - Though you get to see Alii drive, what's also in view are the park and Honl's beach. We visited the Honl's beach frequently; even saw 2 turtles there! In the apartment itself, the pull-out bed is quite uncomfortable to sleep. Also, none of the plug points on one side of the kitchen work. Otherwise, a great place to stay in Kona!

Loved living in Kona for a week 💛

We enjoyed our stay and loved our location in proximity to the beach and shopping nearby. Close to Costco and the airport and yet not far from exploring other areas of the island. The condo bedroom shares a window with the road which was very loud most nights and garbage day was rough at 4am😅. Loud cars were hard to tune out throughout the night. The disposal wasn’t working but management was quick to get it fixed and working 🙌 and cleaning staff was very friendly. Check in was easy and so was check out! Thankful for the AC and the kitchen as well as the pool! Loved staying in Kona and would go back and stay again if we return to the Big Island.

New Year 2020

I exchanged two weeks of my time share for two one bedrooms and rented this property. This property had more items from the owners that completed the stay -- Like Coffee, boogie boards, games etc. The Raintree timeshares had been updated significantly and had a better air conditioning system since it was in both rooms -- This property had an airconditioner in the living room and we were comfortable in the bedroom -- Not sure how it would work with much higher temperatures. Kona reef had great outside grills and the pool was perfect.

Almost a good location

I have stayed at the Kona Reef condo's before and been very happy, but I would not recomend this unit to others. This unit is right on Alii drive and very noisy with constant traffic. In addition the deck side faces a beach which is favored by homeless people who screem at each other and anybody they see gets alot of the F-word. Also this unit has seen better days needs to be cleaned and updated. This condo developement is great if you have an inside unit that overlooks the pool or ocean.

Kona Reef B-21

We loved our stay at the Kona Reef B21. Surrounded by brand new sound-proofed windows we loved all the light in this very well-decorated and comfy corner unit. The weather was unseasonably warm for May, but we stayed very cool inside with the brand-new AC in this unit.Very easy access from the parking garage, just a mere 5 steps up and you are at your front door. The kitchen was outfitted with everything you could possible need for staying in and cooking. My concern is always to get a good night's sleep and the King-sized comfy bed did not disappoint. We slept very well. Adeline the property manager was very helpful and attentive. She helped me immensely with this last minute booking I needed to make. Will be looking forward to staying in this sweet little B21 gem again in the very near future.

Just What We Needed

We enjoyed the apartment, and our stay was free of any stress. Self check-in was smooth, everything was as described, and we settled right in for a week's stay. The Kona Reef Resort complex is a kinda dated stylistically, but well maintained. We enjoyed the pool area, the available grills, and the small beach right next door. The apartment was nicely provisioned for a vacation rental. The kitchen had everything we needed, minus the groceries, which we obtained easily with a short drive to Safeway or an Instacart delivery. Location is an easy walk to the commercial area and is a manageable day trip to virtually any spot on the island. The lanai has a bit of an ocean view. Between its street-side location and proximity to a public beach, the apartment is subject to some noise. This did not affect our experience, although one in our party is highly sensitive to noise. We slept like babies.
