Waterfront Crystal River Ozello Island Home - private dock/pier and sunset views

Luxury custom built stilted home in the beautiful and relaxing community of Ozello in Crystal River. Spectacular waterfront views, enclosed sunset room and direct access to the gulf from private dock and pier with boat launch on property. Enjoy the view of manatees, dolphins and an abundance of birds and local wildlife from the comfort of this special property.

Beautifully landscaped yard includes a private fish pond (not for fishing or catching) and bird feeders for a full nature experience on the island.

Two bedroom (one king, one queen), two full baths, under house breezeway seating area, and large enclosed sunset room boasting views of the water, wildlife and surrounding islands.

We do offer internet wifi access (sorry, no cable or satellite or local TV) although cannot guarantee uninterrupted connectivity due to the remote nature of the property and potential weather. Smart Tv has Roku with some free apps as well as the ability to access your own subscription based services (Netflix, Hulu, etc).

Maximum occupancy of this property is no more than 4 total people (includes adults and kids). Sorry, absolutely no pets allowed.

Rental also includes access to three high quality kayaks (two singles and one tandem) for use by our guests at no additional charge - a tremendous savings and incredible way to explore the Ozello area. Launch directly from the property!

Walk to Pecks Old Port Cove Restaurant and discover other local gems. Get on "island time" and enjoy everything this quaint community has to offer.

We could look out the porch window forever

Terrific! Very comfortable stay. We were there during a cold snap and loved looking out the front window at the birds and porpoises. The kayaks were great and there is plenty to explore. Super convenient to walk to Peck’s for lunch or dinner and the kitchen was well equipped to dine in as well. We will be back!

A peaceful gem

Our family stayed over Christmas break and had a lovely time! The view is breathtaking and home very comfy. The king size bed may be the most comfortable thing I've ever slept in! ;) Our family swam with the manatees and did a lot of fishing and kayaking. We saw multiple dolphins from our dock! It is a bit of a drive from the main road but there is a great restaurant a 5 minute walk away. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat and quality time with loves ones, this is the spot for you!

Amazing!!

I have nothing to say but great things about this place. In a tranquil quiet spot with a restaurant right down the street. My daughter and I brought our fishing rods and caught so many fish off the dock it got boring. So great, totally recommend!!

Fantastic House Great Location!

The house was everything we hoped for. Very clean and well appointed. Beautiful views all around the property. Our young daughter had a blast fishing from the dock. This is a perfect location for getting away from the crowds and experiencing Old Florida again. Will definately book this again!

Great Escape

Our goal was to be away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and this location met that goal. We wanted to be on the water to fish and boat. The house had kayaks enough for 4 people so we used them every day. The water can be really shallow in places so the kayaks were a good substitute when it was to shallow for our john boat. The house has a great enclosed front porch and we spent most of our time there enjoying the view and watching the marine life. Would high recommend this place if you want to get away from everything and everyone!

Perfect Fishing Getaway

House has everything you could need for a fishing trip. Brought our 25ft boat and had no problems navigating the water or using the dock. If you have a t-top you’ll have to go to the boat ramp down the road, we didn’t fit under the house to use the ramp at the house. Hosts are very responsive and accommodating

Little slice of paradise

The property is well maintained, clean, beautifully furnished, comfortable and just perfect if you enjoy peace, tranquility, and nature. If you're looking for a place to be welcomed as if your a local this is it. The entire community treats you like family, you are secluded enough to be bothered by noone, yet close enough to go out and do daily outings. My husband and I swam with manatees, enjoyed a airboat ride from the local bait shop (Mrs. Finns Oarhouse, they are AWESOME) where we saw sea turtles, sting rays, manatees and dolphins. We kayaked daily out into the mangroves and caught tons of fish. The food on the island is incredible. Backwater Fins, literally everything on the menu is delicious! Yes we ate there that much lol. If I could give this trip 10 stars I would, I completely fell in love with Ozello, this island has moved to the top of my "move to retire" list.

Great waterfront house with splendid view

Thus waterfront house is very individual: all is well arranged and all services are well available. The location at the end of Ozello Trail is very remote and thus very quite. If somehow lucky, one may spot manatees or dolphins in the lagoon...as we did! The pmace is great to do kayaking tours by yourselves! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Ozello Sunset House

Beautiful sunset!

The place was just as described. The house was clean and kitchen well stocked. Host was quick to respond for a few minor issues. The sunsets were just amazing. You don’t want to miss it!!!!! Only suggestion I have is a few more chairs outdoors.

Great Location

The house was very clean. Great location if you want to get away from the hustle of life. Private rooms with their own bathroom were a great touch. Nearest town for groceries and restaurants was 15 miles away. The pier was awesome and fishing was fun. We saw Dolphins one morning that got with in 100 yards of the pier. I would love to come back and vacation at this location.

Amazing Stay

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights for our anniversary and did not want to leave. We had such a phenomenal experience from the amazing location, the super clean and comfortable home, and the gorgeous sunset views. We even got to enjoy manatee watching from the “Florida room” and the dock on our last night! Robyn was so quick and kind in all of her communications with us. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be back! This is our favorite vacation rental from all of our trips over the years. Thank you so much Robyn and Steve for sharing such a beautiful and relaxing place with us!

Gorgeous Getaway!

This place is perfect. Its right in the heart of secluded fishing grounds and is very quiet. The place is just as described, is vey clean and updated. Kayak right from the dock into the surrounding marsh. And its only 20 minutes to town so very close to nearby amenities. We were coming back from scalloping in homasassa so only had a day there but would love to spend more time to explore but it was perfect to cap off the trip!

Four Adults had an amazing stay!

Loved this property! Super clean, and close to a local restaurant, and near all the springs where the manatees eat and the dolphins play! We enjoyed spotting dolphins from the comfort of the sunroom, and exploring the area on the nice kayaks. One of our party caught a red snapper not far from the dock! Be forewarned, if it isn't breezy the biting bugs (no-see-ums mostly in early April) are pretty intense, so pack your bug spray! Also, the small room is not nearly as lux as the master bedroom (as reflected in the listing, one is a King that has a Serta adjustable base, which is delightful, while the other is a smaller room with a regular queen bed) so if you are traveling with another adult couple you may wish to work out who gets which in advance (arm-wrestling, coin toss, whatever!) The queen bed wasn't very comfortable, either (caved in the middle), so we informed the owner and they thanked us for the information, so it may be replaced. Owners were great communicators and responded to any questions promptly. Basic cooking supplies, corkscrew, and a drip coffee pot. Wireless internet was good for us. Would stay again (assuming they replace the queen mattress).

Beautiful house and location
