It's hard to beat summer in West Michigan! You'll love this grand old home in the heart of Spring Lake with ample room for your family and friends. Great location just a short walk away from playgrounds, restaurants, bars, parks, and just a short bike ride or drive away from fabulous Lake Michigan beaches. Bring your bikes and/or walking shoes to enjoy direct access from the house to the Lakeside bike and walking trail. The Dacha Spring Lake will be your home away from home this summer!

The house was great and exactly as pictured! We were in town for a wedding, and it was the perfect place to stay for a group of 9 adults.

This was our second stay at Dacha house and we loved it, once again. Some of the improvements--like better air units in the upper level--were much appreciated! We love the decor, furniture, personal touches, and cozy feel of the home. There are so many great shops and restaurants in Spring Lake and we also loved boating on the lake for a day through Grand Haven Boat Rental. We would most definitely stay at Dacha house again. We also appreciated the home owner's flexibility in allowing us to add a day to our originally scheduled trip.

We stayed here for a family get-together to celebrate my brother's retirement. The house was beautiful, very clean, and had just the right amount of space to meet our needs. I was a little concerned that there were only 2 1/2 bathrooms, but the extra vanity and sink in the 2nd floor laundry room made up for it. The three living room areas gave us all the room we needed, and everyone was very comfortable. Five stars for a great place to stay!!

Great for groups and families, the kids enjoyed the books and play kitchen. Nice backyard and close to walking trail. Listing was accurate and kitchen was very well stocked!

Great House and Location

This is a great spot to stay in Spring Lake. House backs to nice walking trails and is downtown near restaurants and other amenities. We have family nearby and will stay at this house again the next time we visit.

Good location and great house for a family or group. Having the playroom stocked with books and toys was great for our 11 month old. Kitchen is well appointed with gear, and was easy to get basics from the grocery store.

Beautiful Gem

The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The playset and firepit in the back yard are a welcome bonus when staying with little ones.

The house was beautiful! The kitchen had everything you needed. It was in the perfect location with it being close to restaurants and gas stations, the trail behind the house was a great tough! We had a 2 year old whom loved the toy/book room and the swing set in the backyard. We had 6 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room in the house.

Incredible Home and Location

Pictures really do not do this place justice. It’s a beautiful home inside and out with a gorgeous backyard. The inside was clean and host very responsive. Our group could not have been more pleased. We will definitely return.

Wonderful place to stay, wonderful location!

We have stayed in this home on two separate locations and have loved it! The home is cozy with roomy shared living space. We love the big yard and direct access to the bike trail! It is also so centrally located and easy to get around Spring Lake and to Grand Haven. Even the library is directly across the street, which has a wonderful children's area. It is along a busy road, but we have honestly never heard/felt it while inside, only when trying to pull out if the driveway which can be a bit of a challenge at times. We had some minor hiccups throughout the week (issues with the Internet router, chirping smoke detector battery) and really appreciated the prompt attention of the local property manager, Elizabeth!

Wonderful Home, Busy Street

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. A few minor things came up to be attended to (electricity in second floor bath didn't work under the sink, cooling the home was an issue but it was hot outside!). We loved and appreciated the extras like having a laundry room with supplies and a working kitchen to make meals. The home is clean and comfy. Being on a busy street meant we could hear the traffic at times, but not a deal breaker for renting again. Thank you for having this as an option. We had at times 7 adults in the home and we had plenty of space to roam.

Absolutely Amazing

We stay in Spring Lake every summer. This house is stunning. Whomever created the updates had a wonderful way of keeping the original historic charm with the convenience of todays world. The kitchen I could live in. The second floor bathrooms shower is a modern day dream, while the third floor bathroom is beautifully romantic and peaceful. The backyard area is great. It backs up to the bike/walking trail that my daughter and I love about Spring Lake. Anything I write could not do this house justice. Its an experience you need to have for yourself. Elizabeth is a wonderful host and we thank her for her hospitality.

Had a wonderful time, plenty of room for 7 to lounge and catch up with life long friends. The dining table and kitchen area served as gathering places too. Enjoyed the bike/walking trail behind the home, short walk to the small beach. Close to Ferrysburg beach which was so enjoyable and downtown Grand Haven for fun shopping. Convenient to so many nice places to include eateries.Recommend the kitchen be stocked with a new set of pans with lids and the hire of a landscaper to clean up weeds on back deck and around the home. Would have loved to use the fire pit but the area was a little scary. Also recommend seating be made available on the deck. Thank you. Enjoyed the stay.

The house was spacious, very well-equipped kitchen, linens, etc. It was perfectly located for a family wedding in Spring Lake and fun at the beach in Grand Haven. The owner was very quick to answer questions. Loved our time!

We love the Dacha! It's a great house and it's a great location, quick drive to the beach, walkable to some restaurants, ice cream, coffee. the owners were lovely to work with.

A perfect escape!

There were 3 families that stayed at this property, six adults and five children between the ages of 1 and 7. The layout of the house worked out perfect for us for sleeping arrangements and bathrooms. There was even a bonus kids room with some toys and books on the main level, and a swingset in the back yard. The property had access to a walking/biking path behind the house, which also was nice to be able to go on walks/bike rides with the kids. The main level of the house had an open feel, which allowed you to still feel connected to friends and family while working in the nicely furnished and updated kitchen. The driveway was located on a busy street, which could be difficult to pull out of. The owner was responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Overall, I would highly recommend this property.

Just Right

Perfect set up for our group of 4 couples and one toddler. Plenty of room on the first floor to hangout and cook dinner. The kitchen was great and well-stocked. Very unique decor which was comfortable and inviting. The backyard was fabulous and even had a swing set which was not mentioned in the vrbo listing. The house is located within walking distance of 2 coffee shops and restaurants. Our group loved walking for coffee in the morning. We also enjoyed the bike trail behind the house. Short drive to all that Spring Lake and Grand Haven have to offer. The only drawback was the traffic noise in the evening in the street facing bedrooms but sound machines are in the rooms.

Eclectic. Well appointed. Bedrooms a touch small, and bathrooms bit limited...but it worked out. Recommend you stay there...good value.

Wedding in Spring Lake
