We really enjoyed our stay at the mini ranch! The property is very private and dead quiet, but still very close to downtown Montrose. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed and more, the covered parking was an added bonus, and the vibe of the place was quaint and relaxing! We loved the shade of the front porch and the hummingbirds that came to visit regularly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Spacious and convenient location for the two of us. The house was really clean, well stocked, and Tamara was incredibly communicative. Quiet location but plenty close enough to Montrose. Couldn't ask for much more!

The mini ranch was perfect for my family’s stay in Montrose. The location was perfect for all of the activities we had planned. There was ample parking our trucks, trailers and Jeeps. I highly recommend this property.

this is a great property. It's located within 5 minutes of Montrose,CO but in such a quiet semi-secluded setting. We easily drove to both rims of Gunnison NP and the Colorado National Monument.The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to cook in after a day in the park.We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

it was fine ,didn't realize that I would be so close to town, my fault. Tamara was helpful when we were able to get her. LOCKED OUT FOR THE FIRST NIGHT, because of a miss function with the lock box, had to stay in town at a hotel. House was nice and clean, property was small.

When you contacted me, I walked you through the steps over the phone, and the lockbox opened immediately with no adjustments or malfunctions. This is the same generic lockbox that our cleaning crew and prior guests have used seamlessly for years. We always aim to assist immediately whenever a guest reaches out. Regarding the property, we take great pride in our 2.5-acre lot and ensure that the acreage, location, and clear photos are accurately detailed in our listing so guests know exactly what to expect before booking. Great stay

Excellent service and location.

The location of this property was perfect, close to town while having great privacy. The space was clean, well furnished and great for family vacations. The hosts were also very responsive and great at communicating. Overall would highly recommend.

In my experience, I diligently reached out via email, text, and various points of contact both before, during, and after the stay. Regrettably, I never received any notification that there were issues with the property – in fact, the feedback I initially received indicated quite the opposite. It's important to note that Jarod wasn't the guest; rather, it was three workers, and I had also messaged them directly. To ensure a seamless experience, we even arranged for a cleaner to visit on the same day as their stay. I genuinely value open communication and if there had been any problems, I would have greatly appreciated the opportunity to address them promptly to improve their experience and that of future guests. I must express my disappointment in the breakdown of communication during this stay.

The location is great, beautiful views of the San Juan mountains and to the east the area rising up to the Black Canyon. Its very close to town, but doesnt feel that way. Saw lots of rabbits and deer. We had a great time!!

Two of us spent a week at this location. Our purpose for coming to Colorado was to specifically visit the Black Canyon. This was a good location to stay at because it was reasonably located near the Black Canyon National park. This allowed us to visit the park 3 times. The Black Canyon did not disappoint! So many breathtaking views. This property is a good location to visit the Curecanti National Recreation area for some great hiking as well! Montrose is a friendly town with great places to eat. We also visited Ouray’s Box Canyon and town, and the Ridgeway State Park and town. The San Juan Mountains are beautiful! After hiking the Mini Ranch gave us a relaxing refuge. We spent a lot of time on the patio! This property gave us an opportunity to do what we love…hike, enjoy God’s beautiful world, and give us a much needed place to relax! Whenever we had questions, Tamara, the host was quick to respond addressing any question we had. There are convenient places nearby to buy groceries. Every restaurant we patronized had great food and great service. We went to Horsefly twice! Yum! We have many more National Parks to visit, but if we ever get back to this area, we will definitely try to stay here again!Thank you so much for Everything!From Happy Michiganders

Great Location and Peaceful

We loved the space and privacy of this rental, and the close proximity to Black Canyon of the Gunnison. It is in a good location and it was very clean and comfortable, great views of the mountains out the living room window.

Location was a surprise.There were bunnies and mule deer that greeted us every morning and evening. Awesome! Easy to get to town with restuarants and stores.The house was clean and decorated cute. I have delayed writing a review, because of my experience & the owner asking for a 5 Star rating. I wanted to think about my response, and since this was my 1st time with a Vrbo rental I asked friends who had encouraged me to try a Vrbo rental what they thought about my experience.I needed a place to stay 11 days because I was coming to take part in a celebration of life for a dear friend. The rental needed to be clean, quiet & have a place to park our truck and trailer. Tamara's rental matched my criteria with plenty of room for parking, very clean, and in the quiet countryside away from traffic. What didn't work for me was Tamara leaving cameras on after telling me she turned them off.I had just returned to the rental from my husband's emergency hospital stay. Friends stopped by to support me as I was very upset about his health situation. It was 107 degrees; so, I invited them & their small dogs in to sit around the table in the a/c. Tamara called immediately to tell me she was upset about dogs in her house which she could see and hear on her cameras. (Neither her List of House Rules or Book sitting on the kitchen counter listed "no dogs.") After my friends left, I swept the floor and was thankful I found no dog hair or dirt on the floor.Unfortunately I was uncomfortable the rest of my time at the rental wondering if she was watching so I can't give a 5 star review. In fact, this will be my first & last Vrbo experience. It caused too much stress with my hubby ill.

We had a GREAT time. The house is very comfortable. Drinking coffee or whatever on the porch and watching rabbits, birds, deer, and sunsets was relaxing. Lots of room under the carport for the motorcycle. Proximity to great motorcycle riding is wonderful. Would definitely do it again.

Great place while exploring area

Very clean and comfortable. Located conveniently for exploring Montrose downtown and south rim of Black Canyon. Plenty of space for my husband and I. Also plenty of kitchen amenities for our meal preparation.

Montrose stay

The property was exactly what it appeared in the adds, they were more then helpful getting us in. Look forward to staying here in the future if it’s available when we come back this fall
