Welcome to Altitude Adjustment! Our beautiful mountain home is located at the top of the mountain in the heart of Fleetwood Falls. We are approx. 30 minutes from Boone and 20 minutes to West Jefferson. The community is located along the New River. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of the outdoor decks while looking at views of Grandfather Mountain!
Pets are allowed! There is a 25lb 2 limit max. Pet Fee will apply. **We do not make exceptions on our pet policy!!

This property was everything we were looking for in a weekend getaway. The property and neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The house was beautifully decorated and supplied. The game room was great. Who doesn’t like a quick game of Pac Man. It was a reasonable drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone, etc. we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to get away for peace and quiet. Clean cabin and beautiful views with everything you need for a getaway. Deer grazing in the morning and crickets at night. Highly recommend for a mountain retreat stay.

This was a great house for our needs--family reunion nearby. The house itself is great, pretty, comfortable and clean. The kitchen has good supplies of spices and the pantry had some things we needed too. Coffee bar was nice and well supplied! Weather was very hot so we didn't spend as much time on the porch as we would have liked, but will do so next time.Kelly was very responsive to my communications and a pleasure to work with. We brought our dog and it was awesome to be able to walk him downstairs to the fenced in back yard to do his business. (Of course you are asked to clean up after your pets.) I highly recommend this house and will use it again in the future.

We absolutely love everything that this house has to offer. We unfortunately had to check out early due to a bad winter storm, and Kelly was kind enough to reimburse us for the days that we missed out on. We will definitely be coming back to stay as soon as possible!

As close to a my fully fuctional kitchen at home as I have seen, EVER! I was delighted to find all the utensils and cookware I needed to make anything I wanted to cook. Great view, great space for up to 6. I really enjoyed and appreciated the place. I will be back in the fall.

The property is beautiful and even better than the pics! It has absolutely everything you will need. It’s very neat and clean with a fantastic view from the porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Great property and location

The property was beautiful and the neighborhood was also very beautiful. Location was good and was close to the river and not too far from the blue ridge parkway. We loved it there.

Mountain getaway

This house was lovely and perfect for a restful trip away from the city. Close enough to Boone to go into town but great just to chill in the whole time. The screen doors were a wonderful touch as there were a couple of light rain storms that came through during our stay and it was wonderful to have a breeze and hear the rain. We had a wonderful trip and will definitely be back!

Very clean, deck, sunset, game room, grill, very nice gas stove, gas fireplace, nice sleeping bed, well stocked house if you forgot something.. did I leave something out oh yeah it’s not mine.. we enjoy our three night stay greatly.

Wedding trip in Deep Gap

The house had everything our group needed, to include three bathrooms for wedding celebration prep and primp, and a porch to relax on after the rehearsal and reception- that came a close second in the highlight reel for the weekend. Have already recommended to others for future visits to the Boone area!

Great Getaway!

A lovely home in a lovely mountain neighborhood. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space and everything we needed to cook, relax, and play. Great host, too!

Altitude Adjustment is nearly perfect!

We needed a weekend retreat near App State and this place did not disappoint! A clean, updated mountain house with a coffee bar and spectacular views. The host provided nearly anything you could think of and we would definitely stay there again.

Perfect stay!

This property was perfect for my kids' Spring Break getaway as they wanted something that was not the beach this year. More than enough space and such a peaceful neighborhood with great views. Kelly was very communicative and quick to answer all of my questions. Will definitely stay again!
