Welcome to Hang on Slupey, a luxury Orange Beach vacation home located in the brand-new, beach-front Ocean Edge community. Professionally managed by Kaiser Vacation Rentals, Hang on Slupey welcomes you with immaculately designed coastal interiors and a private community boardwalk just steps away.

Offering 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, as well as an additional bunk area, this Orange Beach vacation home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. Hang on Slupey's features include a fully stocked kitchen and expansive seating to accommodate the whole family. With 6 chairs at the dining room table and 4 more at the bar, this Orange Beach vacation home is perfect for getting the whole family together to enjoy a hot meal. What's more, Ocean Edge offers a private boardwalk with dedicated beach access spanning over 300 feet of sugar-sand beaches.

Upon entry to the first floor of Hang on Slupey, guests are greeted by an open-concept kitchen and living room overlooking the front porch with indirect views of the white sandy beaches and clear waters that the Alabama Gulf Coast is known for. The main bedroom, appointed with a king bed and en suite bathroom, is also located on the first floor, along with a powder room right off the kitchen. The second floor includes 2 more bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and hallway bunk beds. Beyond the family-friendly floor plan, this Orange Beach vacation home offers comfortable indoor and outdoor seating for every guest, plus generous flat-screen TVs in the living area and every bedroom.

Guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 25 for the entirety of their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome at this property. Smoking is strictly forbidden. Winter monthly guests are welcome. Hang on Slupey is best booked directly through our website. The Ocean Edge community allows up to 3 vehicles in the driveway of this home.

Easy Spring break

This is a beautiful property that comfortably slept 10. It’s just steps from the beach with easy access for my daughter’s beach wheelchair. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is very nicely stocked for big meal cooking as we made our full family Easter meal. This was such an easy and wonderful stay.

Great house, great location

The house was super clean and comfortable. We loved the close beach access and really appreciated all the cozy seating options for our group. Would definitely stay again. The only issue is they need a handrail installed for the bunk bed, it’s not safe to climb up to the upper level with the installed ladder because the wood is too wide to grip.

(Friday) night we checked in. (Saturday) morning 7am we alerted the host the primary shower was not working, the water pressure was trickling. (Saturday) 11am maintenance comes and confirms the shower is not working tells us he will be back to change out the broken parts. (Saturday) afternoon/evening no one returned. (Sunday) no one returned. (Sunday) night I asked again when this is going to be resolved. (Monday) morning we alert the host the dryer is also not working. (Monday) afternoon maintenance comes back to look at it again and tells us he's not a plumber and he did the best he can?(Monday) night 5pm before we leave for dinner we alert the host again that the shower is still not working and now all the hot water for the entire house is out. They respond with a novel of a text message letting us know how important it is that they resolve all the issues and they think the issue is just switching the shower head? and for some reason let me know the maintenance team didn't mention the hot water not working and asked for me to confirm it again. (Monday) night we get home from dinner 8pm, shower is still broken and the water heater is 100% out of hot water. We give our 3 year old daughter a cold bath.This is now night 4 out of the 6 nights were staying. I tell them this is ridiculous and get very upset. (Tuesday Day 5) they come and change the shower head.The washing machine was caked in mold. The dryer was clogged with moldy lint under the trap.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry that the issues during your stay caused frustration, particularly with the shower head low water pressure and hot water. We would like to clarify a few points. Our maintenance team did respond to the water-heater issue and reset the breaker. Unfortunately, the breaker ultimately needed to be replaced, which was not something that could be resolved simply by resetting it. The shower head was replaced because of the low water pressure reported with the primary shower, not because of the hot-water issue. We also want to emphasize that we do communicate information we receive from our maintenance team to our guests and provide updates as they become available. We understand that the situation was frustrating, but we were communicating based on the information provided to us at the time. We acknowledge that the delay in fully resolving the shower issue was frustrating and that the overall experience did not meet the standard we strive to provide. We also take seriously the concerns regarding the washer and dryer. These appliances should have been properly maintained prior to your arrival, and we have addressed these concerns. We sincerely regret the inconvenience these issues caused during your stay, especially while traveling with your young daughter. We appreciate the feedback

Nice house

House was very nice, great location. Once construction is done it will be a nice street/neighborhood. Property Manger was also great to work with and very quick to respond to questions/concerns.

Hang On Slupey

Beautiful home with ample accommodations! Location was great! Quiet neighborhood, beach access, spacious rooms, just a few of the pluses. Only complaint was a need for a grill, (which we bought) and potholders We would definitely consider this beach house for a repeat visit!

Family Getaway

My family and I had a great time at the Hangon Slupey home. The listing was completely as described. Accommodations were perfect for all of us. Not sure how to do it, but getting the sand off of floors in between stays is an area of improvement.

Under Construction do not stay

This home is in a construction site. Outside shower door needs a latch to Keep from banging against the deck from the wind. Fire alarms need plastic covers removed for safety. Bedrooms need a chair for sitting.
