Wonderful location. Hosts were quick to respond to communication. Backyard was a welcome addition when it was too windy or foggy to use the front deck.

Fantastic stay in Santa Cruz!This VRBO was very well equipped and spotless. The location is unbeatable—right on the oceanfront and completely walkable to the beach and nearby attractions. It was perfect for our whole family, with plenty of space and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

The house was very accommodating close to many excursions and restaurants

The view was awesome praying you get the road construction taken care of Loved how there were plenty of essential provided for kitchen , bath and laundry

Great location!

Great location and view. We came for my daughter's UCSC graduation. The host was prompt in answering all my questions. We had a great time and will be back.

We r family!

Had a great family reunion!! Some members came from Canada and stayed at hotels near by. So much to do, and this house was within walking distance to the pier, the boardwalk and Natural Bridges State park!

Return stay

We had a wonderful time. The view and location is exceptional. Comfortable beds, showers are lovely, lots of room, clean, and a well stocked kitchen, except for spices. Thank you for the wine and sharing your home.

Ocean front stay

We enjoyed our stay and the views and the location. I did not like the long staircase needed to go in and out since I am crippled and it is a big extra effort. The place was well equipped for meal preparation.

Great place to relax

We were a party of 7, and enjoyed our stay. Was a very nice place and we would stay again. Only issue was there wasn't enough wash clothes, but we managed. In addition, windows were a bit dirty, but it was very foggy.

Birthday Celebration with extended family

Property is amazing and perfectly sized to accommodate 3 couples, two grands (almost 7 and 9) and two well-behaved dogs, who were never left alone at the property.

Accommodating host and amazing location

Family and friends gathered over Memorial weekend for a lovely time enjoying local beaches (two in walking distance) and the Boardwalk scene . I goofed on the registration and the host bent over backwards to accommodate our party. Extremely clean, great fenced yards

Our Santa Cruz Haven

Our three-household family gathers every August for several days in a nice vacation spot. In the past, we reserved a large cabin at Lake Tahoe. This year, we decided to spend a week near beaches in Santa Cruz. The house on W. Cliff Drive was perfect for us. We'll have to do it again someday.

West Cliff drive house

The house was exactly what we had hoped. Excellent views of the ocean. The upstairs bed was super comfy. You could easily hear the ocean day and night. The bathrooms were updated. The kitchen was well appointed. We would stay again.

Spectacular Views

This is our second stay at this location. Perfect location for what we want, easy access to walking along ocean, beach access, watching surfers, church, board walk etc. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. Owner was easy to communicate with and very responsive. It would be nice to have a newer grill. We will stay here again.

Perfect location and beach house

Very conducive as a beach house for our family. Plenty of space. Love the upstairs living area with all the amenities! Charmin TP was great! A lot of rentals skimp on paper towns and TP. We even played Bocce Ball outside. Even better locations for the Iron Race the kids participated in.

Great view and walking options

I never got tired of enjoying the view from the living room, dining room or patio - morning or evening. We even saw otters and sea lions frolicking in the sea. The weather was amazing and we enjoyed walks along the ocean each day and explored Natural Bridges. Kitchen was well stocked. Safeway and downtown we’re nearby. Updated carpet and furniture would’ve made the experience 5 star.

Dwyer Reunion 2025

This was a perfect family reunion location for 4 siblings with families and 2 medium size dogs. We so appreciate the use of the garage, especially for the older people with mobility issues. The house is well stocked with all the necessary kitchen appliances and utensils. The Wharf is just a little a mile to walk to. There are two great dog beaches close by for the pups to run around off-leashed. The bocci court in the backyard was a great added bonus. Thank you, Merc, for sharing your home. We look forward to making more wonderful memories at your home.
