We had a wonderful stay! The view was beautiful, and the property was comfortable and peaceful. The bedding was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. Excellent location and stay for a family. It was a lovely place to relax after exploring the area. We would happily stay again!

this is the fifth time we have stayed at this house over the years, and we love it. It fits or needs perfectly, the view from the front porch is worth all the money.

Future guests, We would like to provide some additional context regarding the hot tub. During the stay, the hot tub was used late into the evening, and following checkout, both side arms of the hot tub were found broken (regardless of operational instructions posted) and the water was left in a condition that required additional servicing. The charge assessed was related to the damage discovered after the stay. For the reassurance of future guests, our professional spa company services the hot tub twice each week and documents its condition during each visit. This regular service schedule allows us to closely monitor the condition and cleanliness of the spa and ensure it is thoroughly checked and properly maintained for each arriving guest. We take the care and cleanliness of our property seriously and want every guest to be able to enjoy the hot tub in excellent condition. Thank you.

Our family stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday and we couldn’t have picked a better home for our trip. The kitchen was stocked perfectly for our cooking needs, the house was beautiful and very clean, and the hot tub and outdoor shower was a great bonus! We highly recommend this for any guests wanting a comfortable stay and an easy location to the beach and all things Santa Cruz.

The best part of this house is the view. Several reviews mentioned the home needed updates but that’s the nice version. It’s actually not well maintained and needs a serious deep clean. We wrote the host about a series of issues so I hope they get addressed for the next guest (broken toilet seat, broken bike, no useable frying pans, hole in the wall, etc). For the price I wouldn’t stay here again but the beds were decent and sheets appeared clean. They had a drip coffee maker and filters so no need to buy those for your stay. Parking was easy and about a 20 minute walk to the Boardwalk.

Future guests, We value feedback. Toilet seat was loose, one of the bike handle bars was a little loose (both just needed a quick tighten.) We did not receive any notification from the guest or we would have sent a handyman/ cleaners to address any issues. The door stop for front door from previous guest had failed and the handle poked the drywall (we were not able to paint and patch within a same day check in due to wet paint and has since been fixed.) We frequently check kitchen/ supplies and update as needed. We look forward to hosting you.

The location is PERFECT! Great view just across the street. Short walk to beach, boardwalk, and lighthouse. The home is an older home, but has been maintained well. Hanging out in the front porch admiring the view and people watching was our favorite part of this home.

Annual Family East/West coast get together.

Close to wharf, rides , beach and shopping. Great view of the bay. Walk along the cliff top sidewalk and watch the surfers perform.

Location, Location, Location!

We rented this house for New Year’s Eve with our grown children and grandkids.Even though the house is older, it was perfect for all of us! Sparkling clean everywhere, great beds & bedding

Great house and location

We enjoyed the house with due to its nice location and great amenities. Pool Table, Hot Tub, Bikes, scooters, surf boards, game room and front fire pit where you can sit and watch sunrises. The house is also well stocked with kitchen, bath and general supplies. Excellent place to stay.

We enjoyed walking to and around the lighthouse every morning. Stopped and got muffins and donuts a

Enjoyed watching the surfer’s and hearing the sea lions. Sitting by the hot tub feeling the warm sun on the face. Lots of room in the house very comfortable. Family played cards at the kitchen table great time.

Beautiful cozy home in a perfect location! Close enough to walk to the boardwalk but just far enough to enjoy peace and relaxation from the crowds. The views from the front deck are amazing, with the boardwalk lights across the water glowing at night while you enjoy the warm firepit & listen to sounds of the seals in the distance, surfers and otters in the bay, palm trees gently blowing in the warm breeze, all right across the street. The house was clean, cozy and welcoming, with comfortable beds and lovely decorations, all the amenities you need. We absolutely loved this home and so grateful for your helping us to make our trip to CA memorable and fantastic! Thank you!

Keeping the traditions alive!

We introduced our grandchildren to Santa Cruz! Our children came here as littles and we hit all the sights! From the aquarium, golfing, the boardwalk, Capitola beach and just relaxing on the porch! We love staying on West Cliff for the fabulous location, the views and convenience! We will definitely be back next year!

We had a wonderful family reunion at this home in Santa Cruz! The location couldn’t be more perfect—right on West Cliff Drive, with stunning ocean views and just a 10-minute walk to the Boardwalk. We loved sitting out front, watching the waves and all the people biking, walking, and walking their dogs along the path.The house itself was very welcoming and accommodating. It’s an older home and shows some wear and tear from years of use, but it had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies, so we were able to make all our meals there. Our favorite spot was definitely the front fire pit—it was the perfect place to gather in the evenings.All in all, it was a great place for our family to relax, reconnect, and enjoy beautiful Santa Cruz!

This was a great family get away!

This was a great property, we loved the lawn out front it was great for games and the fireplace out front made it comfortable to be out in the evening and enjoy the view of the Boardwalk . We really enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck, it even had a little view of the ocean. There was a game room in the back with roll up doors that can be opened to bring the outside in. The home was EXTREAMLY clean and had all the amenities.
