Hey, Get A Room is a studio apartment that is privately located on the ground level of a home surrounded by beautiful live oak trees. You'll have your own private deck to relax after a day at the beach or site sightseeing'. It's only a five minute bike ride to the beach or sound for those beautiful sunsets and many awesome restaurants to enjoy.
There's a public beach access with parking and a bath house 2 minutes away by car.

Cozy nights on the deck with a fire in your chiminea.

You have your own keyless entry for easy check in, Queen bed, deck, outdoor dining area, outdoor shower, 2 beach cruisers, beach chairs, back yard with a hammock. A kitchenette with a Kuerig, Toaster oven, and small fridge.
WIFI and Smart TV.

Perfect for a couple. Private place in a quiet neighborhood. They've added so many small conveniences and a few large ones. Very considerate of what travelers would need. The hosts are friendly but respect privacy. Also know everything about the islands and are part of the history! Ask Holli about her connections. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay!

Had a great getaway! Location is prime, nice quiet neighborhood, and nice property. We definitely enjoyed the outside patio area. Very clean and shabby chic. Would definitely recommend.

OBX Weekend

Great place for me and my husband. It was cozy and charming and well appointed. Close to the beach, restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy location

We enjoyed everything Get A Room had to offer. The studio apartment had everything we needed for our getaway, easy access to the beach and restaurants and right in the middle of the OBX to get out and explore.

Hide away on the Outer Banks

What a little gem of a property! Absolutely delightful and perfect for a few days of peace and quiet. Great location to base your beach weekend from, just minutes from restaurants, beach and shops. We will be back!

Perfect getaway space for two

Wow! Holli goes over and beyond to make people feel comfortable in this space. It’s cozy and simple, but there’s a lot packed in. The room itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable- smart tv, comfortable furniture, and easy to come and go locks. The spaces outside cry for you to come and enjoy them. There is a lot to take advantage of as this spot is very close to both the beach and the sound and restaurants and shops, but it still felt like a private little getaway tucked away in a sweet neighborhood- not loud beach house rows. We were so lucky to meet Holli in person and she felt like a friend we had known forever. Every restaurant or bar suggestion she made were just as amazing as she said they would be. (Swell’a brewery and Art’s Place) We will definitely be coming back to Hey, Get a Room the next time we come to the Outer Banks.

Just what we needed

Great quiet location with a deck and fire pit. Definitely what you need to relax and get away. Great food and entertainment nearby in every direction.

An ideal location for my OBX adventures, going north or south. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. I had a blast staying @ Hey, Get A Room during my 2 week OBX visit. The best of hosts. Highly recommend.

Perfect couple’s getaway!

This property was perfect for our long weekend! It was clean and had everything we needed! Great size for the 2 of us. While we didn’t use the bikes or outdoor shower it’s a great option. We loved that the beach was a 3 minute drive! Made the sunrise more doable! Would definitely stay and recommend!

This was a great location for us. It has a quiet setting that was easy to get to and easy to navigate to and from local attractions. The room was the perfect size for a couple- it was also super clean and just as presented on the website. Holli was very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again!

September Stay

Very convenient to restaurant’s (Hurricane Mo’s, Black Stallion, Barefoot Bernies) and the beach, but just far enough away to avoid crowds and traffic. We just showed up, everything we needed at the studio apt and for the beach was there for us to use.

Lots of privacy yet good, clear communication with host- always quick and responsive. Very well appointed space. Host thought of everything, exceeding expectations. Everything was not only clean- it was fresh and attractively decorated.
