Located walking distance from great restaurants along Northern Lights, our four bedroom home offers plenty of space to enjoy the long Alaska days. The split level layout features two living rooms, master en suite with king bed, two queen bedrooms and bunkbeds in the kids room. Valley of the Moon Park, Westchester Lagoon & the Coastal Trail are a short walk away. Reach downtown attractions in 5 minutes by car. Private backyard & patio with firepit offer plenty of seating to enjoy the midnight sun!

This single family home boasts an open concept main floor, which includes an updated kitchen, formal living and dining room, breakfast nook and lots of windows to let the light in. Upstairs, are two bedrooms including master and en-suite. Mid-level contains two bedrooms and a full bath featuring double vanity and clawfoot tub. The downstairs family room provides access to a heated two-car garage, making winter stays a breeze, as well as laundry room and half bath.

Located within a quiet residential neighborhood guests have exclusive access to the entire property. Perfect for friends and family stays in Anchorage. Multiple parks and restaurants are within walking distance. Downtown Anchorage is a 5 minute drive while the airport is just 10 minutes away. Truly in the heart of it all.

Amazing place

The property is very clean and easy to find. Close to shopping centers and just minutes away from the grocery store. The house is located off of a main street but it wasn’t busy or loud. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is huge and has everything you will need. Dining and living room are very roomy. Kids loved the family room downstairs. Kane was awesome! Responded with every question or need. Highly recommend!

The Anchorage Experience

A group of 5 of us came to Alaska for some mission work. They place was perfect for 4 adult men and one youth. It is very spacious in the living room and dining area. Plenty of room for guests. We enjoyed everything about the house!!! We will rent again

Favorite VRBO!

North Star property is my favorite place I’ve stayed at! The location in anchorage was perfect. Quiet neighborhood near downtown and midtown and easy to get everywhere. The amenities were amazing! Garage where we were able to keep our bicycles, dry our wet gear and even park our car. The house is beautiful with amazing Alaskan art work on the walls. The beds are so comfortable with the softest sheets and great pillows. All the seating areas were perfect and so comfortable. Great tv room to wind down at the end of active days. Also the Chester creek trail and coastal trail are only a few blocks away which we accessed on our bikes easily! Wonderful stay!

My family and I stayed at Kane and Evelyn’s vrbo home and very much enjoyed ourselves. The open floor plan and great kitchen was a welcoming haven to come back after a day of sightseeing. Kane was also super responsive and checked in to make sure we were taken care of or if there was anything he could do as a host which was much appreciated.

Great Anchor house in Anchorage

Wonderful house

this house is exactly as described in the listing. We needed something that accommodated a family of 5 with enough bedrooms, seating, etc. This had 4 bedrooms so everyone got their own except for the youngest boys shared, which was fine with everyone. This house was SPOTLESS and very spacious. The large deck was just wonderful to sit out on. The large sized living room and TV room downstairs, large dining table with lots of chairs, etc were great. Bedrooms are all a nice size. Be aware the bathroom access for the bedroom near the master entails either intruding on the master bedroom bath, or going downstairs. There are 2 downstairs, 1 with a double sink that we had 3 people share. I used the 1/2 bath, which was fine (and the shower in the master bath). The neighborhood is rundown. But that isn't the fault of the house. The back yard is very nice. There were enough towels, TP, dishes, and so on to be comfortable. Large refrigerator. The garage is pretty large. Proximity to various parts of town is good. The owner was SUPER NICE AND RESPONSIVE. He would answer all of my many questions within minutes. I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property, and Kane, the owners. 5 stars!!! I'd give more if I could. Thanks Kane!!!

Anchorage June 2022

The owner was prompt in answering questions and concerns. The home was awesome (4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, eat in kitchen and dining room). Everything was very nice. Location was easy to get from the airport, train station and downtown. Amazing back yard with 2-decks. Would highly recommend this home to family and friends.

Amazing place for our entire team.

I worked with Kane and made a few seamless changes and all went perfectly. Everyone was blown away at how nice the place was. With gear all strewn about and lots of food prep for our expedition, THIS WAS the RIGHT PLACE!! Nothing better out there. I'll be promoting this place on my climbing and mountaineering sites.

The property was just as described and had the perfect amount of space for our group! The house and the hosts exceeded our expectations! Kane and Evelyn (the hosts) went above and beyond for our group providing for our needs before we even arrived! Definitely would stay here again!! Thank you so much for your hospitality!
