It sounds like everyone enjoyed the activities that we have available, and we are happy that you found the house to be beautiful and relaxing. Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us. We're sorry to hear that parts of the listing did not meet your expectations. We understand how important features like a wood-burning fireplace and a fire pit can be for a stay, especially when they’re key to your booking decision. To clarify, the outdoor setup is a smelting-style fire bowl, which we realize may not have matched your expectations for a traditional fire pit. Additionally, while the indoor fireplace is indeed wood-burning by design, it is currently non-operational for safety reasons — and we recognize that this should have been clearly communicated in the listing. We’re updating our description to avoid any future confusion. We truly appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future with a more aligned experience.

We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. The fireplace should have been fully functional, and we regret that it wasn’t as expected despite prior confirmation. We also regret the delayed response to your messages and the cleanliness issues you encountered with the counters, dishes, and laundry. We take this feedback seriously and are addressing these concerns with our team to ensure future guests do not face the same problems. We’re glad you enjoyed the layout, bedding, and dock access, and appreciate your constructive feedback.

Thank you for the 5-star rating. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay at Lakeside Nest. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.
