The apartment was very well kept, terry and Mike were wonderful hosts! The homemade banana bread and chocolate chip cookies were delicious! Would highly recommend staying at the Hawthorne house in Newport! So convenient to everything!

This was the perfect space for my wife and I while we visited Newport. The apartment was spacious, well appointed, very clean, and well kept. We highly recommend this property to anyone considering a visit to Newport. The hosts were exceptional and felt like old friends.

Terri and Mike are fabulous hosts! They anticipated our needs and were more than helpful about our transportation needs.Plus breakfast stuffs including fresh fruit and homemade banana bread and cc cookies! So nice!We recommend whole heartedly!

From the first communication, to ease of check in, cleanliness, comfort, location and check out of Hawthorne house, everything was more than deserving of a 5 star rating! Mike and Terri are exceptional hosts that went above and beyond for us and our pup.. We had a wonderful stay and I hope to return sometime soon.

Mike and Terri go above and beyond to make everything perfect for their guests to make sure guests are welcome and comfortable. Sitting in a perfect location to get to the Ocean Drive, the cliff walk and town, Main Street and Thames St. area are close by. We enjoyed the beautiful deck overlooking the expansive backyard off the bedroom. we even had a baby deer come visit us early one am. We’ve never experienced such attentiveness to the fresh towels, the restocking of the water in the fridge English muffins, cereal, fruit, completely over the top.! We look forward to returning to enjoy their hospitality again in future years!

It was a very nice stay. We were provided with home made banana nut bread, chocolate chunk cookies fresh fruit daily. It was very clean and inviting. Great recommendations for local activities and places to visit. Enjoyed our stay at this location and our hosts were so accommodating and pleasurable. Thank you Michael and Terri Fitch.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at Mike and Terri’s beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The house was absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean, thoughtfully appointed, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Every detail was so carefully considered, and it truly made our stay feel effortless and special.The location was absolutely perfect, making it so easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. But what truly made our experience exceptional were Mike and Terri themselves. They were the most gracious, welcoming, and thoughtful hosts, and their warmth and hospitality made us feel like honored guests rather than visitors.It’s rare to find a home that is as beautiful and comfortable as this one, paired with hosts who genuinely care about their guests’ experience. We feel so lucky to have found this little gem and would absolutely love to return. Thank you, Mike and Terri, for sharing your beautiful home with us and helping make our stay so memorable! This small attached apartment was clean and comfortable and well-suited for a dog owner with a large yard and park across the street. The owners were lovely and they tidied the room up each evening(fresh towels, emptied trash and fresh continental breakfast). Close to everything and highly recommended.

I've stayed at a lot of properties in my time. Terri and Mike were the ultimate hosts beyond anything expected. Before our arrival, I spoke with Terri numerous times. She was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us recommendations on food, culture, and attractions in Newport. The place was very clean, with towels and treats refreshed daily. The lodging is quiet and a short walk to the hustle and bustle of the town and numerous attractions. Should we go back to Newport, this is where we will stay. Terri and Mike were respectful of our space, but we made great connections with them. I feel we have made new friends, and hope to return for another adventure and visit.

Our stay was delightful! It was at the end of our trip "down east" and it was a perfect place to relax and close enough to spend some time seeing the neighbourhood.

My grown daughter and I enjoyed a long girls’ weekend, and it truly could not have been better thanks to our wonderful hosts. The home is perfectly located—close to the Mansions, the Cliff Walk, and Thames Street—yet tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood.The host greeted us the moment we arrived and made us feel welcome right away. They went above and beyond by providing fresh fruit, homemade cookies and banana bread, juice, milk, and a refrigerator well stocked with drinks. The communication from booking through arrival was exceptional, offering helpful Newport highlights and thoughtful recommendations. The response time to any question was almost immediate.The accommodations were spotless, spacious, and clearly cared for with pride. They genuinely love hosting, and it shows in every detail. We are already looking forward to booking with them again.Thank you, for a truly wonderful getaway!

Terri and Mike were amazing hosts! We were in town for our daughter’s graduation from Salve Regina University and Hawthorne House was nice and close. The communication was excellent and who doesn’t like arriving to freshly made banana bread and chocolate chunk cookies?! The unit was fully stocked with water and iced tea, cereal and English muffins and all the amenities you could need. Comfortable and cozy, yet private for an owner-occupied property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to others! Thank you so much for providing my such amazing hospitality!
