The unit was lovely, although we did not use the kitchen. Everything was very clean, and the rooms were comfortable. The location was excellent, as we were able to walk to the restaurants where we had reservations. The host kept us well-informed as to the check-in process, and the instructions were very complete and easy to follow.The stairs to the unit are relatively steep, so anyone with mobility problems might have difficulty.

Parking was very inconvenient at check in , as the roads were closed to get to the property, i wish the management company informed us of this. Also an extra bed sheet for emergency

The only downside to this place is no designated parking place. Need to find one at check in and leave your car there.

Enjoyed the great location, literally a few steps away from shops, restaurants and the beach. The home was very cozy with updated everything and the bed was top tier comfort! Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated all the thoughtful details that made this place feel like home. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was well organized. Everything we needed was provided, and it was clear the host put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome.The location was also very convenient, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly from start to finish.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Had a lovely week stay. Lots of wonderful restaurants and shops. Very walkable. Beautiful beach and pier walks every day. Close drive to hiking and Santa Cruz. No view from condo, but location was excellent. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay here. It is a very nice, well kept property, the property management had great communication, and cannot beat the location!! Would definitely visit again!

Great time in Capitola

The property is clean and completely updated throughout the home. It’s in a great location and walking distance to everything in Capitola. Other than the neighbors being super loud for NYE, it was great!

Absolutely, V. For a public review, I would make it **factual and fair**, while clearly distinguishing between OVR's professional response and the unacceptable condition of 208B. That makes the review more credible.I have been visiting Capitola since the 1980s and have stayed in many properties over the years. In fact, last month I stayed at the Big Yellow House on Capitola Ave and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, my stay at 208B was extremely disappointing.At approximately 643 per night, I expected a clean, safe, and properly maintained property. The outdoor chairs and umbrella shown in the listing were torn and unusable. The upstairs rug was dirty and worn, the shower backed up while I was using it, and I found myself standing in backed-up shower water. Even more concerning, the upstairs window did not lock, and the gate that guests are instructed to keep locked was unsecured. I also called the provided contact number regarding our concerns and initially received no response.To OVR's credit, after I formally complained, they acknowledged the problems, apologized, and indicated that repairs and replacements would be made. They also provided a 250 refund. I appreciate their response and willingness to take responsibility.I love Capitola and will certainly return, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend 208B in the condition in which we received it.

PERFECT LITTLE SPOT!

I was impressed right off the bat with the location (Wow) The place was spotless, Modern and exactly as described. The Host was VERY responsive and extremely let polite and helpful. The Beds were comfortable even the pull out was surprisingly pretty comfortable. Plenty of stuff to do nearby even when it rained! Would recommend

Stay was ok, but wasn't ideal for us

The apartment is nice. However, steep stairs leading into the apartment. No where to park close by unless you happen to get extremely lucky, but thats unlikely. Walking 1-3 blocks with suitcases and overnight belongings is not ideal. Simply taking a shower sets off the smoke detector, as a voice yells out "Fire! Fire!" The couch is very hard and uncomfortable to sit on, but the pullout bed is a surprisingly very comfortable foam mattress. We didnt love it, but mostly because we had our older age mother with us.

This property was clean and exactly as described. Location was excellent and very quite despite being located above retail stores. Restaurants, beach and shops, short walk away. Perfect for our small family. Would definitely return.

Center of Capitola

Very well appointed and comfortable accommodations smack dab in the middle of Capitola. Once you figure out parking we'd advise abandoning your car and opt for walking or cycling wherever you want to go....
