Charming & Private Santa Cruz Cottage 3 Blocks from the Beach

Charming 2 bedroom 2 bath beach cottage only 3 blocks from Twin Lakes State Beach. The recently updated kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs. The living room has a gas fireplace and a smart TV. The queen master bedroom has a smart TV and bathroom with tub, shower and laundry area. 2nd bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed. The 2nd bathroom has a shower. Linens, towels and wi-fi are provided.

Neatly landscaped and fully enclosed front yard with lounge seating on the deck, gas BBQ, hammock in the garden, outdoor fireplace, and large teak dining table on the patio. Tropical outdoor shower with warm water. Beach chairs, coolers and beach umbrellas are provided, all you need to bring is your bathing suit.

The cottage is close to the Yacht Harbor and Crow's Nest restaurant. It's located at the end of the street with plenty of parking and privacy. The yard is fully enclosed so pets are safe. We are happily pet friendly.

Fantastic rental!

We love this rental! It was the second time we visited Santa Cruz. It is a 10 and we highly recommend it!It is a nice quiet place with a fenced-in yard for our little dog. The Hosts have thought about everything!!

Lovely cottage for friends & family, and dog friendly

Great spot. Super clean. Enjoyed the fenced in yard for the pups. Lots of nice amenities, plenty of towels, wood for the outdoor fireplace. Extra nice touch was the dog treats and wine as a welcome. Highly recommend.

Cute cottage near the harbor

Very clean and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Perfect spot for me and my small dog for a long weekend. I'm already back here again now with my sister and nephew for his fall school break. :) Really nice hosts, they left wine for my first stay and treats for the dog. I will be staying again.

Amazing house on a quiet street

We stayed in this nice house with 4 adults and it was perfect! The outdoor area was great to hang out in, and had a little fireplace to keep warm. The location was close to the beach and just a 5 minute bike ride from the boardwalk. I will hopefully be staying here again if I ever make it back to Santa Cruz.

Perfect Santa Cruz Hide-Away

Three blocks from the Twin Lakes Beach, less than a mile from The Boardwalk and Seabright Beach ... all really walkable. Hidden away at the end of a short dead end street. Far enough from the Main street to be quiet but also close enough to hop onto with ease. Very pet friendly, especially with the enclosed front yard. Very nice place to stay.

Break from Winter

The cottage was really thoughtfully put together. And very well stocked with things that made it very comfortable. Instructions about how to use things ie: fireplace/a/c/patio lights etc were clear and everything worked perfectly. I loved the privacy of the yard and spent a good amount of time on the front porch. All in all it was lovely

Loved this cottage in Santa Cruz!

What a charming cottage at the end of the dead end street. Walk to the harbor, Twin Lakes Beach and several dining places. We go to Santa Cruz annually with our two labrador retrievers - it is their annual beach vacation. They get to swim at the beach, and we get to relax in the ocean air. This darling place has been recently updated and is super clean and super well stocked with more than most other places we have rented. The beds are comfortable, the large walk in shower is wonderful, and the kitchen is super updated and clean and well stocked! Thanks to the owner for the welcome bottle of wine and the doggie treats for our two fur babies.

Delightful place

We loved staying here, and wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful and private front yard with lush vegetation. I appreciated the really quiet street and the 10 minute walk to the dog-friendly beach. The cottage itself is bright and clean and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated that beach towels, chairs, cooler, and a couple of beach umbrellas were provided. Kim and Pam checked in with us while we were there and dealt immediately with a small issue that turned out to be nothing. They were super conscientious about not wanting us to be inconvenienced. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I cannot add anything new to all the other glowing reviews. Just to say this place was perfect for our needs. We were in town for a wedding with our dog in tow. Wanted a place where she could burn her energy in a yard & relax in a home like setting. This beach cottage checked all the boxes. Very clean. Very well stocked. Cutely decorated & quiet. My husband, pup & I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for making our wedding trip to Santa Cruz such an enjoyable experience!

Another fabulous stay at Kim and Pam’s house! They have everything needed for a comfortable and fun beach vacation in Santa Cruz. We appreciate the cleanliness of the house as well as the extra comfortable beds, abundance of beach towels, use of the washer and dryer, proximity to the beach, and the relaxing yard with it’s cozy hammock. We were able to bring our pup this time and he loved it! Kim even connected us to a sweet dog sitter who cared for and walked our pup so that we could go to the Monterey Aquarium for the day. Kim and Pam do an excellent job of communicating and are generous in offering information about local activities. Our family usually likes to vacation in different places but all four of us agree that we would love to stay here at least once a year!

This house is the absolute cutest!!!! Super clean. Perfect location. The yard was absolutely the coolest part. It allowed our family to spread out and truly enjoy the sea air. Oh, and they even had a beach wagon and chairs!! (A huge plus because ours didn’t fit in the mini van. lol) We will 100% be back. This is the perfect beach rental.

Amazing vacation

Great house!! Great location!! Wow! The owners of this vacation rental really put thought into their home! This house was so clean, so comfortable and was beyond stocked with all your needs in mind. EXCELLENT experience!! We have stayed in several VRBO properties, but this one EXCEEDED our expectations! We will definitely stay there again! This house is tucked into a quiet neighborhood with a very short walk to the beach. Just perfect! You didn't know you were in a busy beach location. The yard was lovely with a cool MCM firepit! A great place to explore the Monterey Bay region

We spent a month at the house in early 2025 to get out of the Midwest cold. The house met all our expectations and needs.Checkin was a breeze and the hosts included a welcoming gift for us and the dog.The house was as described and comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom was comfy and the bathrooms had all amenities needed.We (especially the dog) enjoyed the fenced in yard. The hammock, deck, grill, and firepit were all handy and functional albeit a little cold for the season of our stay.The beach is 3 blocks down the street, Plenty of area to walk and the dog to chase balls and waves. The Harbor is a also a fun place to walk and see all the ships and sailboats. We heard seals but didn't see them.All in all, the house was perfect for our needs.

Quiet and cozy cottage

This is our second time at the beach cottage and our family & doggy love it! Our Aussie loves spending time in the fenced yard following all the squirrels. We love it because it is cozy, well decorated and equipped. We highly recommend.
